The assumption is using current situation so she only has tax credit and child allowance which makes her income 369pcm Yes hope to talk to new lawyers soon.
I would include the benefits that she's entitled to claim otherwise she will get a sum off you and then be able to get the benefits on top.0 -
As I recall she is entitled to Council Tax benefits, Income support etc, which came in af something like £820 when I played with it?
You need advice as to whether you should be counting your DD in this calculation. I think not.
Please get your head round the idea that you are not going to dump your DD in hell if you refuse to pay her mother to keep her; she is an adult and there is no reason that you cannot support her separately as long as she needs help; just that you do not have to pay this as maintenance to your wife. Which helps over the next 20 years.
20 and in FTE usually means that she needs to be in recognised FT advanced education.
If this is university level she is entitled to fee laons, grants and support via SFE. As you are now split, this is based on her mother's income and would be much more generous. If she is over 20 and not in advanced education, I do not think you are liable to pay for her.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

If I put her income as 820 and 0 children it comes out with:
Splitting the assets:
Next we share out the net joint assets based on factors such as:
length of marriage, relative incomes, who cares for any children.
Wife's share: 60%
Husband's share: 40%
Wife's total share of net assets is : £324600
Husband's total share of net assets is : £216400
The Wikivorce estimate for ancillary relief based on the above parameters:

The husband has been allocated the following:
- basic (incl childcare) needs £2020
- lifestyle needs £765
A total budget allocated of £2785

- basic (incl childcare) needs £904

yes she gets both those now total 369pcm. When I was there on Sunday she'd left me her credit card bill for last month asking me to pay it after I told her that from this one it was up to her to pay it as I no longer used the card. So she's still trying it on!Regards
