ex has just text to say her solicitor hasn't received anything yet so I've written to mine a '!!!!!!' email?
!!!!!! your solicitor needs shooting never mind suing:mad: (sorry)
Huge congratulations on the house Jack:D:D:D
Made my day when I read that you'd bought.
Here's hoping for happier and more peaceful days to come:)0 -
Solicitor said 2-4 weeks for signing. Barely one week has gone. Besides it was not clear to me from what jack posted which solicitor was going to do a draft for signing. The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.0 -
Given that Jack's solicitor was tardy in the extreme in passing on ex-Mrs Jack's counter offer along with the less than stellar service he's had so far, its hardly surprising that he's gone straight to '!!!!!!'! I'd do the same in his position.
Great news about the house Jack, things are most definitely on the up for you!

Well CathA it's a converted bungalow with extensions, has 3 bedroom, and modern inside. It has a spiral staircase to a bedroom in the roof which has it's own en suite shower room, would make a perfect guest room. The master bedroom is on ground floor with a walk in shower room (not sure why they call it that as we tend not to fly to the shower so much these days?) but it means that it's open ended so no need to step over something or open a door. There is also a main bathroom opposite the other bedroom this is a good size and has a separate double shower and separate bath. The kitchen is modern with a central island breakfast bar. The outside is a pleasant mix of decking a and lawn, with a large (double) garage which has access round the back from a narrow track, but will be used as a big shed really. I could put some pictures up but not sure how ?Regards

Thank you for your email. Please be assured that I amdoing everything I can to meet the service standards quoted in our terms &conditions. Indeed, I drafted the letter of offer on the same day that Ireceived your email last week. The final version went to hersolicitors on Wednesday and it should have arrived yesterday.
We have asked them to draft an order. I wouldimagine that they will take at least 1 -2 weeks to do this and obtain her instructions on the documents. They will then send it to us and I canadvise you upon the terms of the order before signing. My previous emailreferred to it taking 2 – 4 weeks to get everyone signed up and to get theorder off to the Court.
We are in the final stages of resolving your finances and, aslong as her solicitor drafts the order, there are very few costs yet to beincurred.
I will let you know as soon as I hear from her solicitor.
Regards
