Of course you're invited, would you come? Does it depend where it is and when?

Now , being serious. I stand by my word I would consider coming.
If significant other is welcome as well then it could be. Where and when -of course it depends. But thats the beauty of this mad idea - if it works out then be it , if not then thats how it should been :). Hint - not a school day , live in Cornwall but fairly mobile and mad
The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.

Oh wow It is a long way as it's likely to be Northampton area but it will be a weekend if I can get the right venue and the band I want. Obviously it will depend on when it's all completed in terms of actual finalizing settle and divorce but I hope by the summer and will try to do for a Saturday. Obviously it would be open to partners and friends etc.

Getting ahead of myself really, 3 weeks to FDR and no sign of actuaries report on pension. I'll wait til Monday to contact my solicitor....
    Regards

Don't forget to get it in triplicate that it's "full and final" though Jack. Look what happened to that poor windfarm bloke whose wife is chasing him after 20 odd years!!! I'm sure her and your ex would get on like a house on fire! :D

Actually, it would be very much in MrsJackRS' interests to get it full and final. I know Jack has already said that he would not claim but given her parent's apparent wealth, she may well be getting substantial support from them either before or after their deaths.

Even if you would not dream of going for it Jack, if she shows any reluctance agreeing full and final, I would ask your QC to suggest the possibility and maybe ask that any large gifts received in kind or money are notified to you?

Otherwise it just leaves the door open for her to spend and then claim more later............
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

Well I'm hoping all I'm paying with the solicitor will ensure something in place, there's something specific my solicitor mentioned they do with the agreement form, they put a bar on it to stop any future revisiting of the agreement. Although to be honest it's more likely that her circumstances will improve than mine.

Even if I was on the street with nothing, I wouldn't want a penny or a cold chip from her.

Jack whilst you wouldn't take anything. It surely won't hurt to let her think you will given half the chance? Put the idea out there and let her imagination do the rest x

They say it is good to visualise positive result do plannimg party may be helpful.
Have you considered claiming against actuary firm which caused delays etc resulting in a loss for you ? Or doing a letter to your solicitor laying a blame at their door for not ensuring proper service from actuaries?
