What stage is your 17 year old at exam wise?

I would have thought that either she has to get him into a new school with the same curriculum by September 2013 or wait until June 2014?

To anyone who is wondering why the solicitor is taking what appears to be a softly softly approach

He's doing AS this year but was transfering to college course from September so believe starting in September 2013 at a college in the south?

Thanks, I really am lost at sea with it all and appreciate advise and support offered on here.
I was searching for some example settlements but could only find US ones which are scary?

In which case she is going to need to be down there for the end of the first week in September?

Would she leave your DD in the house up north?

Guess you mean direct debits, these currently come out of the joint account for the house. Intension is to close Joint and transfer DD to her account. I have already transfer my DD and SO for my items to my personal account.

So if she left the house and it wasn't sold I guess we'd transfer them back to me.

Makes it difficult to know what to do about renting somewhere etc if it's going to be vacant at end of July?

Oh I see well slightly different answer then, trust me so down with the chat....

No my daughter is also going south with them transfering her college course somewhere but I don't understand the detail as been kept in the dark obviously.

When I asked ex a few weeks back if I could assume she was moving south once school college finishes this summer her text reply was 'feel free to assume'.

I really think that you next solicitor's letter needs to ask what date she plans to move south?

Is she thinking she can strip the place bare? Or is she going to leave the house with all the furniture and think that she can stop you going there until she sees fit to move stuff out?

No idea but I don't think she'll have somewhere sorted to take stuff to until house is sold and settlement finalised. So I think if she goes she'll go to her parents and leave the stuff behind until ready. Obviously she couldn't stop me coming back to live in the house. She did suggest I do that when she was considering moving south earlier but must of had a rethink considering the childrens courses etc.

However it could all be a bluff to stall me and actually she'll stay in the house to force me to stay where I am renting a room. This is why I feel I need to find somewhere now and take control of my life. It's difficult as what's out there isn't cheap, not furnished and rare to find white goods.
