Don't forget to add in to the mix the benefits that your wife could be claiming but can't be bothered to.0

My relative also asked that the ex provide a list of what she had done to try to gain employment, what she was doing to make herself more employable, and details of jobs applied for, to put before the judge.....All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
You have mentioned previously that your are in a house share??
That would mean that your outgoings are relatively low.
It might be a good idea to get yourself into decent accomodation before this goes much further?
Yes that's something I have discussed with solicitor but currently no cash flow to be able to rent somewhere. However think it's the next step. Was waiting to see what I could afford depending on the agreement etc but now thinking get somewhere as living out suitcase is driving me nuts and no fridge or freezer space...Regards

Well - no judge is going to leave you in that situation although your ex might be happy to do so.
Can I suggest that you pay the driving lessons and allowance direct to the "children" (by cheque if needs be) and ask them when they are takling their tests (offer to pay any fees)?
You need to reduce the other payments sufficiently to cover a one bed flat in a decen area.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

Currently pay allowance direct to children, I had poposed to provide cheque for driving lessons but wife thinks I'm being awkward. Once we've got agreement to close joint account will pay it directly.Regards

Yes apparently? We've had some viewings on the property with some positive interest no offers yet.
So currently she's not looking for work but as I discussed with my solicitor should be looking for work down there and preparing for it with training etc.
There's a chance she could be trying to get what she can out of me then going to live with her parents in the south as they have 3 spare bedrooms so perfect fit as it's already set up for when we used to go and stay with them. Her parents are comfortable so any cash she got could be hers and no housing costs etc. I suspect that's her plan until she finds somewhere anyway. I wouldn't be surprised if she has no intension to find a job?Regards

Thats a bit of a burger. Difficult to know whether to get a 6 month rental when the house could be empty sometime in August and you might be able to live there for a couple of months whilst kept it clean and safe.
Could your solicitor ask hers to clarify the situation?
Also bet you that when you get to within a couple of days of exchanging on the house, she will up her demand for a higher percentage of the equity? If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
