Are you able to put "read" receipts on your emails Jack? That way you have proof that the email has been received and read.

I hope you have a reasonable weekend - there is light at the end of the tunnel. It's just taking a while to reach you.

Yes I did that but the recipients can select not to send receipt.

Got email from solicitor with the court notice for 12 Jan, I have to update financial disclosure with all statements fom last submission August 2013 to now. It has to be in by 10 October so another chance for my solicitor to generate fees!

    My solicitor wrote the following:

Further to my e-mail earlier in the week, I have now received the order of District Judge J Vincent, dated 29 September 2014.

You will note that it has been ordered that we should file at court and serve upon exMRs JackRS solicitor your updating financial disclosure since Form E by 10 October 2014.

Given that the order was only made by the court on 25 September, and only received into the office today, I am of the view that this is an extraordinarily short timescale.

However, I enclose herewith a copy of your Form E previously filed, and I would be grateful if you could provide me with all the documents updating your Form E from the date it was prepared to present. For example, I will require all updating bank statements.

As you are aware, the court have listed the hearing for 12 January 2015 at 10:00 am.

I attach a copy of the orders for your information, and look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible with your updating disclosure. As stated in my e-mail, the more of the ground work you can do, the more costs you will be able to save.

Your form E does not actually need to be updated, only the updating financial information needs to be provided. Therefore, if you could clearly bundle together statements for every requisite account, in chronological order, running from the date of the last statement in your Form E to present, that would be extremely helpful.
    Regards

Well it's a complex one, I'm playing in a football match for a vets side Sunday morning (I know at my age but the team still think I can do a job for them) then I'm heading to the south coast as we've reunion planned for the group of friends from my teenage years. One of my friends has Liver cancer which helps to put my problems into perspective. So we wanted to arrange something before it's too late, we’ve a meal planned so sort of partying ???? I'm staying Sunday night at my parents, I have Monday holiday so will do some prep then. I've been working on statements today, also looking at some other rental properties this afternoon.

Glad to hear you are living your life jack :)g
The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.

Hope so well it'll be another year of transition! In a bit of dilema looked at a 2 bed house to rent this afternoon, basically ideal but there's a 1 bed cottage that looks nice on pictures which would be £100/m cheaper but not available to view til next week. Danger of leaving it means I miss out on the other one as just on market today people before and after me looking.

Thank, Good thinking, I'll put a copy in the post. Although last time I was advised that they could get an emergency hearing arranged quickly?

I think there has to be good reason -like children -she has no children living with her. Nails in desperate need of an appointment ....not so much ;)

Surely it would be preferable to have the additional bedroom?
