  • On the subject of the DGM collapse, I raised a support ticket (now a Premium Quidco-er)and asked if my missing £80 from 2010 is ever likely to be paid by quidco also pointing out that TCB users received payment, this is the reply they gave TODAY...

hmmm draw you own conclusions to the question.....

Is it worth paying £5 a year for Quidco Premium?

That response from Quidco sounds very familiar to one I received months ago. I only lost out £40 due to the DGM situation, but it would not have been a lost £40 if I had been with TCB, which I have been ever since.

    Once bitten, twice shy.

I note they don't guarantee any % of the cashback in the event of affiliate network failure for the £5... now that would be a benefit worth paying for. We can't rely on TCB to go above and beyond the call of duty each and every time.

According tp the site i couldnt downgrade till next Feb, I sent them an email saying downgrade me or close my account, they downgraded me next day.
I did check back through my account and it appears i have not paid my £5 for the last 3 years.

Im sure theyre trying to be clever by personalising the promotion based on your shopping history with them. I guess they didnt anticipate people comparing their offers online!!!

Frogitt like me you must do tooo much shopping via Quidco.

I'll never hit the the 6 purchase target by the 9th May. So I guess that's another carrot and string promotion.

  • What the hell is up with Quidco? Since they changed my account and my OH's account to premium, we've both had a message on our accounts saying we couldn't downgrade until 28th April which was yesterday. The message was still there yesterday. We've tried to do it today and it now says can't do it until 28th April next year! What a joke.

Did you purchase anything via Quidco since 28th? In that case you have effectively agreed to continue as a Premium member for another year. If not yet, don't purchase anything and ask support to downgrade first.

    Hi,

I thought that I would write this post to clear up any confusion in regards to the new Quidco Premium account. As all existing member know, we have always retained £5 per year from the cashback you earn (ClickSnap and mobile check ins being the exception). This was outlined in the account holders agreements that all members ticked that they had read and excepted. The new premium account will still retain £5 per year but provide you with more features like access to 1000 faster paying retailers and payment on date. These features will ensure that you receive cashback quicker. The cost of having an account has not changed.

From looking at previous feedback from forums and blogs it has became apparent that our members have found it difficult to get in touch with us. The premium feature offers live chat and call back request, therefore resolving any issues quicker.

If you would like to discuss downgrading please get in touch with us via our website. You can either raise a ticket or take advantage of the Premium features and use the live chat tool or request a callback. We are more than happy to discuss this with you.

It is an exciting time to be a Quidco member and we hope that you take advantage of the new premium features. Feel free to post any further questions.

I clicked through Quidco on 1st April for a £100 cash back deal.
    Today I've been paid £95.
In settings, my account is stated as 'basic'.

Surely since I've paid £5 out of my cashback my account should be 'premium' ?

Or does it not count because I clicked on the 1st April?

Or best case, can I get the £5 back as I got paid after my account was denoted as 'basic' ?

It all seems a little puzzling.
