Quidco who?
Never felt happy about paying £5 when TCB did it for free :j
Wont be going back :T0 -
NOOOOOOOO to Quidco, TCB all the way !!!!!!!!!0

Fab, mine was available to downgrade immediately, will see how it goes, as I have had £750 from them in the last 4 years. If there are massive changes, I will pay my £5 fee again.
I have noticed the faster paying retailers on there of late, and they have been reliable, but they should remain so.
Quidco have Amazon on there also now...obviously where they wenT after leaving the nectar affiliate scheme
Will definitely look at TCB as well, but a poor memory here means I like things simple :rotfl:

Been on Quidco for a few years and found them to be excellent when tracking fails. On the other hand I've used TopCashback twice, and both times it failed to track, and they couldn't be bothered to trace it for me. I've now left TopCashback. I'm sticking with Quidco and will continue to pay the fiver.0

Only on certain categories though - none of which currently cover most things one would actually buy from Amazon.
I find this an interesting step, I'll be downgrading as soon as possible (I wish I could do it immediately with effect from the anniversary date). I've used TCB since I discovered it, with only occasional uses of Quidco when no TCB cashback was available and for the in-store cashback - however I found this wasn't taking me over £5 though. Now if both services are free, there's genuine competition.0 -
I think a majority of people who use quidco do so because the site seems to "look nicer"
on a side note, both quidco and TCB offer £15-16 pounds cashback if you use wonga. now i would NEVER takeout on of these crazy loans. But if you borrow £1 for 1 day. It will cost you £5.56 in fees plus the borrowed £1. Therefore surely you can do this and keep the margin (roughly £10). I know this is a bit off topic, but anyone see an issue with this that I have missed?0 -
So, premium members get "faster payment"
Is this like Green Flag who are a "faster paying merchant" who took 6 months to pay with Quidco still defending this as being "faster" when I complained?
I think I'll save my £5 thanks0 -
I'll still be sticking with both. Every now and then Quidco come up with a deal that trumps TCB by far.
Plus the check ins with Quidco can add up after a day in town.
Will investigate downgrading though, see what the £5 actually buys you.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

I agree with sticking with both, and I don't rely on TCB's price match guarantee, because if it fails to track or tracks too slowly, you cannot invoke the price match automatically, you have to send screenshots of the offer and hope they honour it.0

I don't like the idea of premium members getting faster payment. The implication being that they are intentionally withholding payment from free members.
It's not as if payment is particularly quick anyway.
As for Amazon, have you seen what you can actually earn cashback on? Hardly anything.0
