  • Hi, if anyone can advise: pretty darn sure I opened the Leeds BS online bonus isa, but in my letter from them they say "Online Savings Account", no mention of an ISA. BUT: the provided electronic pay-in sortcode & acctno match those quoted on this thread. Anyone know if i've been given the right or wrong account? similar letter from LBS? thanks
    Friendly greeting!

My welcome letter says Online Savings Account, it's only the letter that refers to my ISA transfer that states it's the bonus ISA.

If you log into your account (using customer number given and password chosen when you signed up), you can see what account you opened.

I presume you applied online, therefore you should have been assigned a customer number and you would have had to choose a password. They advised that you print these out for future logging in.

If you don't have them you can ring their call centre on 0113 225 7777 and they will sort out for you.

Today my husband and I received a letter from Leeds BS dated 22 April 2013 stating that they had sent a chase letter to Nationwide as they had not received any funds.

When I checked last night both our Leeds BS accounts there was zero funds in both. After reading Leeds BS letter I checked again and there was the £100 transferred ISA from Nationwide and it was showing as being backdated to 19th April 2013 the date Nationwide raised the cheque.

So good work on Leeds BS behalf on making sure we haven’t lost a penny in interest but it looks as if their right hand doesn’t know what their left hand is doing.

Exact same thing here. Took 10 working days for the transfer to complete, without any loss in interest.
  • Same for me - my transfer has completed today and I got a letter too saying they were chasing it.

Still waiting for my ISA to transfer :( Had an email from my old ISA provider on the 16th saying the funds had left but still not showing up at Leeds. Seems to be taking longer than it should. Anyone else still waiting for a transfer to go through?
It's taken me a lifetime to start looking after my money and now I'm addicted to doing it! :cool2:

Same here LisaLJ - you're not alone! I've just tried to ring but they're busy and will be calling me back. I know it's frustrating but this is the third year in a row that my transfer has taken longer than expected.
