Leeds Online Bonus ISA

I'll take a raincheck come Sept/Oct. I am contemplating to transfer the lot into an S&S ISA, anyway, so this might be what I'll do.
Obviously that episode wasn't exactly impressive. I reckon there will be a lot of "lessons learnt" taking place at Leeds, not least because I think Nationwide will be asking some very leading questions on senior Leeds levels about the matter.
Leeds don't really have anywhere to hide when it comes to ISA rules, so they would eventually have to correct any errors. So I am overall relaxed but I just could do without the hassle of having to control them.0 -
I will hopefully transferring in Oct from Nationwide and was curious about which transfer form you use. I have found this one on the Leeds site but with no reference to which account it's being transferred into, seems a bit strange,

They mention you send this with your initial application. So what if your account is already open do they just cross check your name and address?0 -
Just write on the form which ISA you are transferring to and/or fill in the account number top left.0

I also learnt that Leeds sent Nationwide a transfer request form for my ISA for £5,640. Nationwide did not process this request since the form wasn't - - - surprise surprise - - - - signed by me. Nationwide will mail me a copy of that transfer request.
I now have the copy of that transfer request that someone at Leeds BS had made up. I reckon the poor sod will be in deepest dooh-daah because that's such an outrageous thing to do for an employee of an ISA provider, producing fake ISA transfer requests.0 -
I hope Nationwide could notice what is going on and what people are preparing to do by October 2013.
In the current environment, Nationwide have nil incentive to keep any of the expensive ISA customers. Particularly not after the transfers debacle. I bet they can't wait for October when they can get rid of the 4.25% ISA accounts.0 -
I didn't say I would expect them to offer 4.25%. Of course they wouldn't at this time. My opinion is still the same - they have no incentive to offer 2.55% either because they can get a lot more money at a lot lower rates.0

Anyone know if Leeds pay interest from receipt of application or when funds land into your account.0
-
what's the problem with that? You get interest from your old provider until the day the money leaves your account, and then from Leeds the day after.
Only time you can hope for double interest is if Leeds take more than 16 working days to complete the transfer. (which they might be quite capable of)0
