  • Thanks Brizzled

Busy day at work today and I realized today that I have taken my lunch into work everyday since going back after Easter holidays :).
Tea tonight was HM pizza and coleslaw and there is enough left for mine and DH lunch tomorrow.

Also been a NSD today, managed to redeem another £10 from pan£lbase they have been sending me some good surveys recently, one was £10 for an hour long one, now if all surveys were like that I would have this debt shifted in no time :(.

DS was supposed to have a cricket match tomorrow night, but it has been cancelled :j, this will be the first Friday for goodness knows how long that we have all been in the house together, so I think we might have a movie night:D

    Hope everyone is ok .x.
  • Morning, it's raining cats and dogs here, hope it passes and we get some sunshine.

Not much to update really, had a small spend yesterday of £3.66 on milk, bananas and apples.

Received £2.28 from Qu1dco and I have redeemed another £3 from my surv£y so I'm waiting on £6 from them. Ebay is slow at the minute and I have acouple of items ending tomorrow but are low value items will be lucky to make a fiver.

Need to clean the house today as inlaws are coming for tea, just making something simple probably pasta bake and HM garlic bread/salad not sure about pud maybe muffins and custard.

Better go and get dressed, take care.x.

  • Hi guys, I love getting all the little freebies.

Today has been a potter around the house day, tidied up a little outside this morning but the weather turned and it is raining again. Lots of washing done and I have done some baking for packed lunches next week - choc chip loaf and some butterfly cakes. Tea tonight is curry and rice as I forgot to get the gammon out of the freezer.

DD is very quiet today, SATs begin tomorrow, bless her I have told her not to worry and that everything will be fine.

£4.20 made on ebay today, not much but it will be squirrelled into savings account for school uniform, I already have £100 put away for when we go away during half term and also lots of bits such as cereal, crisps and biscuits have been put away as well, children have saved some spends money for themselves as well, so I'm confident we will not spend a lot whilst away.

Hope everyone is enjoying a quiet Sunday, take care.x.
  • Wow another mad, crazy week, DD got through her tests and is glad it's all over, DH is working like a mad thing as the farm is so busy at the minute so not seen much of him for the past 5 days.

Had a complete ****** (enter own word of choice) on ebay, who claimed to only have received part of the item they had bought, I know for a fact it was 100% there, but what could I do so ended up having to give them a part refund as I didn't want my 100% feedback damaging, I sure there are people out there tat do this on purpose knowing that honest sellers don't want their feedback damaging, sad thing is it was something my son had sold to raise a few pennies for our holiday in a few weeks time, to say I'm mad is an understatement.

Made a few more pounds this week and have put them in savings account, starting to save for DD school uniform as we had a pack sent through from her new high school and there was a uniform list included which all has to be bought from a specialist shop, thankfully they have a website and I have been able to go online and price it all up, so looking at around £300 . This will not go on a CC I am determined to save every penny and pay in cold hard cash, so over payments to cards will be relaxed until the money is saved.

Couple of nice bits in the post this week, some coupons to use on steak at Tesco, one being for £4 :D and I won a colmons ceramic bull that is a gravy boat, its so cute.

Also been a few spends as well which i will list in a a moment, one being a bouquet of flowers for a relatives birthday and I know I'm going to get grief from them for having them delivered and not going to visit,it's a 2 hour round trip to visit and there is also the cost of fuel to factor and I know this is not a nice way to look at it but also when I do go and visit all i get is moaned at that I don't do this and I don't do that, she even tells the children that I'm useless.

    So spends this week -

    Fuel £25
    School lunches £4.40
    Ice cream treat - £11
Flowers and birthday card - £28.50
    Aldi - £32.00
    Tesco £3.94

    Extra money made -
    £bay £2.50
    pan£lbase £21.50
    mysurv£y - £6

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine off to hang out more washing.
