We have had a very busy day and not been back in the house long.
We have spent the day visiting friends and relatives and the day has been filled with laughter and fun and a wonderful lunch cooked by a very dear friend, I did take dessert though just cakes that I baked last night.
Did have to spend some pennies though, new shoes for dd bought in sainsbugs but they have 25% off at the minute and also bought some Easter eggs for friends children, so a total spend of £16.50.
Also £15 fuel.
Came home to find I have received a £5 from mysurv£y and £16 amazon voucher from another survey company.0 -
PWPS, glad you had a lovely day and are still so focussed on the spending. I could do with taking a leaf out of your book. I must try harder this month!
Hope you have a great Easter weekend.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Jazee - Thankyou, I've found my bounce again and seemed to have my MSE hat well and truly on. i hope you also have a lovely Easter.
I've woken up this morning feeling very happy and content with my lot in life, ok we have money worries but I also have much much more. I have 2 wonderful children who are the light of my life and both are happy and healthy, I have a hard working, thoughtful man that I love so much and I know loves me, I have food in the cupboards and don't need to worry about how I'm going to feed my brood ( so many even in this country do), we have a roof over our heads and beds to sleep in, there is a woodshed full of free wood to keep us warm, I have kind and thoughtful friends that I can laugh with and put the world to rights. What more could I ever possibly need

DS spent the morning badgering me to take him to town as there is a new xbox game out that I said he could buy with his easter/birthday money, so off we went to sainsbugs, remembered to take my voucher wallet with me
, I spent £8.74 in sainsbugs, but added to my shopping DS game and a top DD was buying with Easter money so my shopping came to over £50 so I claimed the free nappies and used a triple points voucher
, nappies will be passed onto a friend for her little one and the children gave me the cash for their items..
DD wanted to have a look in new look so whilst she pottered in there I went to boots to check machine for vouchers, claimed a 25% off shampoo and a 25% off shower gel, I also had a voucher for free always lady items, so i managed to get 2 bottles shampoo, bottle shower gel and always items for £2.74.
Next I went into Iceland as they had sent me a coupon for £1 off when you spent £10 and I also had a £10 compliments voucher that I received the other day from surveys, I bought 24 pack crisps, pack cooked ham, flora, twin pack minced beef whoopsed from £5 to £2.50, pack chicken breasts and a loaf of bread that after vouchers cost £1.50 in cold hard cash.
We have just sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed a cheese board for lunch, the weather is beautiful here and long may it continue.
Off to check surveys and then I will hng some more washing out.
Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend, take care.x.0 -

I agree with mummytogirls - it is definitely worth signing up for cards etc as it does seem to pay off with vouchers etc.. I'm always up for a bargain. Have a great weekend. xxE.F. #38 240.55/1000 SPC8 #375

Hi mummy and mags, thankyou for popping by, I agree to signing up for cards etc, I know you do end up with some junk mail but it is worth it for the coupons/freebies i receive.
Today is a quiet day, pootling around the house doing small householdy jobs, currently watching Harry Pott£r and we have tucked into the easter eggs early, naughty I know but the kids have so many.
Postie brought me a couple of nice freebies this morning, lenor fabric softening trial size and six packs of crisps to test for a survey company. Also brought me some tesco money off coupons for various producys, need to have a look online and see if any of the items are on offer and worth buying with the vouchers;).
I have listed a couple of items on ebay, not 100% that they will sell but if I don't try I will never know.
I hope everyone is having a lovely Easter weekend, take care.x.0 -
Just had a check of my bank account and thrown another £37 at debt. Moving in the right direction.0
