  • Thanks for popping by PWD.

Been a busy few days, work is hectic and children still seem to have so much going on, I'm looking forward to the Easter hols.

School seem to have dealt with the problems DD was having, fingers crossed that that is the end to it.

Received a £4 payment from p1inecone and finally got to the £10 mark with valu£d 0pini0ns so have ordered a £10 sainsbug voucher.
Sold a few more items on ebay and have made around £25 :D,had another free listing weekend as well so I've relisted a few items and put a few more bits on.

Shopping was done yesterday, need to check receipts but think I came in around £70,hopefully won't need to do a big shop between now and payday on the 31st, just a small top up shop.

I have paid £150 off barc card today, will see how much money I have left tomorrow after sending ebay parcels and putting fuel in the car and send any extra to tesco CC.

Had a lovely walk today all the family went including dogs and pony, this weather is wonderful long may it continue.

Think thats it for the moment.
  • Feeling so much more upbeat and positive at the minute, I'm sure it is down to the weather we are having at the minute, I'm finding it so much easier to get up in the morning now they are a bit lighter.

DH has come home with a new chicken, it belonged to a friend and was being bullied by the other chucks so we said we would try it with ours and see how it got on, there was a bit of squabbling to start with but things seem to have settled down, i hope it is going to lay!!

Some small spends today, put £10 fuel in car and spent £1 on a tooth brush for DD. Need to check finances later and see if I can send anything to tesco CC.

Did a bit of baking when I got in from work just some cookies and rock buns, need to go and make a pasta bake shortly for tea.

Couple of tems I have listed on ebay have bids on, will be pleased if I make another £25, it all helps afterall.

    Take care pwps.x.
  • Evening.

Not much to update, posted a couple of ebay parcels this morning and whilst I was in the post office decided to pay a bit more off the CC so another £30 winging its way.

Only other spend has been £7 on a sack of potatoes, these will easily last a month.

DS is being a little s*d. not sure if he is over tired because its coming to the end or term or just going through a push the bounderies stage, either way I'm sick to death of being treated like dirt, he is currently banging around upstairs because he has been sent to his room for being rude.
  • Oh dear re DS! Mine can be a real pain in the arris too.

    Hugs Xx

  • Evening, not alot to update, waiting for payday on Monday.

Paid Halifax card on Friday, paid the minumum plus an extra £15.

Received a payment of £4 from p!necone and £3 from mysurvey and have made £28 on ebay today, couple of bits ending tomorrow have bids so wil make at least another £5.

Received a £10 sainsbugs voucher from valued opinions yesterday, so went and got some shopping to tide us over the weekend, used £10 voucher and £2.50 in nectar points, so only needed to pay 23p in cash.

Mothers day tomorrow and MIL and FIL are coming over for lunch, have taken meat out of freezer, DH and DD are cooking :D.

CHickens seem to have started laying properly and we are getting 2/3 a day, new chuck seems to have settled in which is good.

Weather has been beautiful today and I have got loads of washing done, DD has been out for a nice long hack on her pony.

Hope evryone is having a good weekend. pwps.x.
  • Good morning, first day of the holidays and it is lovely not having to rush around like a mad thing, DD is still in the land of nod and DS is sat watching cartoons. I have been up since 7 and I've pottered around and got some jobs done, washer is on, chickens have Guinea pigs have been fed and watered and DH has let the pony out for me so I can go later on to help DD to muck out and take her for a ride out. I have baked a cake which is now cooling and emailed a friend regarding meeting up with kids in the holidays.

Not alot going on with money, DD for Tesc0 CC has left account this morning, have had some rent money but it is short again, tenants are really testing my patients paying in dribs and drabs (they do pay full amount every month but not all at once, this was never the arrangement) also they had an inspection and the house was untidy/dirty and their children had drawn all over the walls :mad:, they have been been given some time to sort it out but i'm wondering whether we are better getting rid.

Mammoth shop at the weekend, between aldi and sainsbugs spent £125, but cupboards are bursting, had the sainsbug order delivered as they had sent me a £10 off £50 voucher with free delivery, couldn't say no to that.

Went to the cinema at the weekend, cost £25 for a family ticket:eek::eek:, we went to see Noah and really enjoyed it, bought snacks/drinks from the £1 shop before we went spending another £7, expensive treat for us but much needed and felt good doing something as a family. Came home and had tea which had already been prepared curry, rice and naan bread knowing I had it ready and waiting stoped me from wanting to go and get a takeaway on the way home, also parked on the outskirts of town so we didn't need to pay parking, was a 20min walk but no one seemed to mind.

Had some good freebies through the post this week, choc cereal to test (the one that turns milk chocolatey;)), some britney perfume which smells lovely, catfood and shampoo.

Off to catch up on surveys and see if I am close to payout on any

  • Good morning.

Up early again this morning, funny how I don't find it difficult when I'm not at work! 2 loads of washing done so far, chickens and G pigs fed and watered, going to let pony out shortly, will muck out this afternon.

Busy day today, need to go into town to pick up something for DH will nip into sainsbugs to get a couple of bits we have run out of, max spend will be £10, then off to Dentist which happens to NOT be in the same town:mad: , appointment is at 12 so going to make up a packed lunch for kids to have when we come out, otherwise I can see me spending a fortune in the bakery, also need fuel for the car so will need to stop off for this.

Dropping children off at MIL/FIL after all of that as they are taking them to see The Muppets, children are very excited :D, but I hope they don't think going to the cinema twice in one week is going to be a regular thing .

On the money side of things, withdrew £10.90 from a survey site last night, but takes up to 6 weeks to hit bank account .

I currently have a very sore fat lip, DD pony headbutted me last night, she was only being friendly and didn't mean to hurt me but my goodness did it make my eyes water, I don't think it realizes how big it's head is :rotfl:
