    Hi PWPS

Sounds like you have a super busy day ahead. Good luck at the dentist. Doesn't help when you have a fat lip :o

Well done with the survey money, I know how hard earnt that money can be. Rubbish that in these modern days they still take 6 weeks to transfer the money
  • Hi Stressedsteph, fat lip has gone down just have a cut on the inside which is really annoying me.

Dentist was OK for myself and DS, but poor DD needs a filling :(, I do feel for her as she seems to have inherited her fathers teeth, he is always having problems. So she is going back in 2 weeks to have it filled.

Yesterday was a spendy day £18.50 at the dentist, £20 fuel and £8.42 in sainsbugs.

I had a lovely quiet afternoon yesterday, got lots of jobs done and also watched a couple of things I had recorded, in laws dropped kids back around 8pm and they stayed for a late tea of HM pizza, wedges and coleslaw.

Postie brought me a handmade wine glass that I had ordered a few weeks ago, I had given up on it as I received I £5 voucher with no minimum spend and free delivery, so gave it a go on the only item I could find for £5, thought they hadn't honored the order, but it arrived yesterday.

Also cashed out on 2 survey sites, £16 amazon voucher and £5 into paypal, who knows when they will arrive though.

Must get on,chickens and G pigs are all sorted, washer is on, but need to go and let pony out.

    Take care.x.
  • Postie has been and brought me a freebie tube of toothpaste and a parcel with a comp win in it, its a toy worth around £5 but too young for my 2, so will pop it on ebay when there is a free listing weekend.

    Hi Penny

Nice to get something free in the post isn't it.

I agree with the survey sites slow payout. I basically have given up on them as it takes so long to get anywhere.

Hope you enjoy your break and get a rest too.
    take care
  • HI sweetpea, thanks for popping by, surveys do seem to take forever, but I keeping plodding with them.

    Take care.x.
  • Good morning and it's a lovely day here, animals have all been sorted and kids are all up and dressed, DS is playing outside.

Had an email from letting agent to say that rest of rent has been paid, she has also sent them a strong worded letter to them, basically stating they are taking the p*** and that they need to sort themselves out.

I'm trying to get the garden tidied but have to admit this is not an area I enjoy, I really don't like gardening and struggle to get motivated to do anything outside, so I'm trying 10 minute stints to see if just doing little and often helps, but now I have come inside for a cuppa I don't want to go back out, I would much rather be in the kitchen cooking:(.

Nothing of interest from Mr postie today just a CC statement.

Right I'm going to finish my tea, set my timer and do 10 more mins, wish me luck.
  • Managed to get quite a bit done outside with the help of DD, front path has been swept, driveway swept and the beds around the driveway weeded, looking a lot better now, going to do the back tomorrow as DH is off work and can give me a hand.

    Withdrawn £4 from cr0wd0l0gy.

Forgot to add a small spend yesterday, washing up liq and mayo, we were running low on both so got DH to get them whilst he was in town, he needed to go to Halfords for a couple of things for work so got him to nip into HB, total spent £1.79.
  • Hi, not sure where the last few days have gone but we have certainly been busy.

DC have had friends around to stay for sleepovers, we went bowling on Sunday for DS birthday and had family over for birthday tea.

Didn't sell anythng on ebay this weekend, not sure whether to relist or not.

    I have received £4.48 from quidc0, £4 from pinec0ne and a £10 gift voucher from Ips0s, also redeemed £11.30 from a survey site.

We have been making the most of the sunshine and have tidied the garden, It's been lovely sitting outside and enjoying nature, we seem to have loads of ladybirds in the garden and I keep finding them crawling on the washing, speaking of the washing I'm loving getting it dried outside and not listening to the dryer going. The chickens are laying well and I'm thinking we must get a couple more, they are cheap to feed and the eggs are so much nicer than shop ones.

I'm really enjoying being off work and having time to do things at a more leisurely pace, lots of baking has been done and the house is cooking much tidier. So far this morning I've made banana ans choc chip muffins and a rhubarb crumble.

    Hope everyone is ok.x.
  • Well done on the gardening Penny, I enjoy it once I get out!
