Hi PWPS, I also received a free sample of lenor and yesterday got a freebie toothpaste in the post. Spent the last two weeks doing gardening. Planted loads of veg especially salad stuff. Hopefully I will reap the rewards in summer as it has cost me abit to start the stuff off. If I don't do well this year I wont bother next year. My dad when he had an allotment used to get loads off his. Fingers crossed. Glad when DS is back at school as I have spent abit this last two weeks, need to reign my spending in.x

Good morning, thanks for popping by amber, I envy your greenfingers, i'm sure all those veggies will save you a fortune.

I managed to list a total of 15 items yesterday ob £bay, couple were relists but hopefully I will make a few £s, I already have bids of £5, so at least thats a start.

TOday we are at a family party, need to get kids up soon and get sorted, I'm hoping not to have to spend too much money I have £35 in my purse and when it's gone it's gone. A buffet lunch is being put on but we will need to buy drinks.

Not sure what tea is tonight as I'm not sure what time we will be home, think it will be a ploughmans type tea, we have lots of cheese and salad bits and I have some part baked rolls in the cupboard if we get in late or if we have time I will put potatoes in the oven and have jkt spuds.

I hope everyone has a lovely Easter sunday, take care.x.
  • Happy Easter PWPS, enjoy your party Xx

  • Hi Brizzle - I know I'm terrible for posting and it does keep me on the straight and narrow if I do, I need a swift kick up the bum.

Hi PWD - the pony is doing very well thankyou and DD is getting to ride most days thanks to the lighter nights.

sorry I've been missing again, don't know why but although i'm popping on and reading diaries I'm not updating my own:o.
I am thinking about starting a new one to see if that helps me get my mojo back.

Another crazy week has gone by, I seem to be running children here there and everywhere, its mostly DS as he plays so many sports, cricket is back on so training and matches everyweek, he has also taken part in a interschool athletic tournament thing as well this, he is still at primary school I'm dreading what it's going to be like when he gets to secondary school as he is just sport mad.

I also had a lovely night out with friends last week it was great catching up and we had a lovely meal out but did mean I spent £35.

We have not done too much this weekend as DH has been working but we did get to a car boot sale, DD spent nothing, DS spent £6 of his own money on some xbox games and I spent £5 on a beautiful picture :D, I am so pleased and can't stop looking at it.

Spent quite a lot on groceries over the weekend but does mean we are stocked up, I think the sainsbury delivery man thought I was mad as he delivered an order of nothing but meat, they sent me an online code for £10 off £50 spend and free delivery but I had already done a huge shop in aldi so decided to use it against some of there meat offers and fill the freezer:D.

Bought a bargain top for work in sainsbugs was half price down to £5 and then went through the till at £3:D.
    So spends this week -

    Aldi - £86.51
    Sainsbugs instore - £49.73
    Sainsbug online £47.26
    fuel - £20
    Night out £35
    top £3
    car boot £5
    Mcdonalds :o £19

    Extra earnings -
    E bay £34.

Debt - NO extra payments made :(
  • Wow that was a long post!!
  • Evening, Really trying to make myself come on and post even though I don't have much to say

Back to work after a lovely long weekend, work is really good at the minute, there has been lots of changes and some staff have left making it a much nicer place all round :).

Posted some ebay parcels this morning and put £20 of fuel in car.

Redeemed £3 from mysurv£y, plugging away at surveys at the minute but seemed to getting screened out of loads:(.

Postie brought me some flower seeds this morning that I don't remember signing up for, will have alook at them next weekend to see what I need to do with them.

Hope everyone is ok, take care.x
  • Evening, just a quick update as I need to go back out shortly and help DD muck out.

Checked banking this morning and I'd received £10.90 from 0pini0n bar, paid £25 off debt this morning and I've just withdrawn another £11.30 from pan£lbase should receive that in around 7 days.
As well as paying the extra bits off debt I'm also trying to save some money to pay for DD secondary school uniform, this is going to be an expensive outlay and if I can manage to put a couple of hundred to one side by August it will really help matters, DS will be getting DD old school jumpers/polos to do him for the beginning of next year so will only need new school shoes and a couple of pairs of trousers.

Right better get a move on.
