HI guys, sorry I have been missing, although I have been reading and keeping up with diaries, I have been avoiding mine.
I have 2 confessions to make.
0 -
Confession 1 (the small one).
Last month I ended up using a CC, spending £22 on it, this was so I didn't go overdrawn and end up with a bank charge, so cheaper in the long run.0 -
Confession 2 (the big one).
DD is the proud owner of a beautiful pony.0 -
Ok and onto money saving.
Rent has been paid on time :j.
All CC and DD have been paid, so just things like groceries, petrol and birthdays to fork out for.
Yestreday I spent £19.43 in the butcher, bought some pies, sausages and a huge piece of brisket which should do us 3 meals and is currently in the slow cooker and smells beautiful, we will be having it with rst spuds, veggies and HM yorkie pud, als dug a ST pudding out of the freezer, not good for the waistline but very nom nom.
Made a big pot of carrot and coriander soup this morning, cost pence to make as carrots were free (used last £1 tesco voucher for carrots) and the coriander was whoops down to 60p and only used half a pack, an onion and potato and some stock:D.
Made a choc traybake for lunchboxes and will need to make biscuits later in the week.
Received £1.50 clubcard voucher yesterday, so I will use this for milk tomorrow as its all I need at the minute.
DD birthday is coming up and due to the above she is not getting much and is not having a party, she has asked for a new pair of jodders, her current ones are on the small side, so I have ordered a funky pair off ebay, only cost me £5 as I had £11 already in my paypal account, she has also asked for some hair staighteners, I have some argos vouchers £15 worth, had a look and there is some that are around £25 that have good reviews so will get her them on Thursday if they are in stock, I will check out the claires sale as well for something small off her brother. I have also told her she can have a friend to stay, they can play ponies, watch a dvd and eat pizza and hm birthday cake.
DH has changed energy suppliers, DD is going down from £91 to £75 a month:D, which is fantastic news.
I'm sure I have loads more to update but can't think at the minute.0 -
tut tut
Just kidding. Confession 1 makes sense. Confession 2 hmmm well I'm sure DD is happy
even if your bank balance isn't
and I know which is more important!
glad the rent was paid on time :j that must be a huge relief. Hope everything else is all well and stop avoiding your diarywe're here to support not shout
(we leave that to the other forums on here lol) xx

Thanks DFW, bank balance not too bad, we didn't pay for all of it probably a leg:rotfl:, vast majority from grandparents, but of course we have the costs of feeding, farrier and vet. so far its not worked out anymore than what we were paying for her to go to the stables, but now she can ride everyday if she chooses and pony is 100% hers, also costs are down as we don't have livery charges, can't believe the price of that .0
