  • Hi Penny :)

It must be lovely so see DD so happy with the pony. Precious memories.

Love the sound of the muesli bikkies.
  • Good afternoon.

Been to the hairdressers this morning so myself and the children are looking much tidier, spent £45:eek:.

All the animals have been fed/cleaned out and DD has been out riding.

managed to do 3 loads of washing, swept and moped through the downstairs and made a cottage pie and rice pud for tea.

Completed a few surveys and redeemed £20 from reward£d 0pinions, takes 2-4 weeks to hit paypal though.

I think that's all for today, pretty boring really.
  • MOrning.

Well yesterday was another manic day, it started off nice and quiet i pottered around the house and did a few jobs, went to the pony with DD, sent DD poo picking in the field :rotfl:.

Arrived back home and I had had a phone call from my Gran, she had got herself in a right state over a bill, basically my dear (pain in the backside) sister had taken it upon herself to try and help gran and changed utilities and has made a complete hash of it and then basically walked away to leave a 85 yr old lady that struggles to hear and see to sort it out , so mad dash up the motorway to try and sort it out for her, DH was home and came with me,I sat down gran with a cuo of tea and settled her whilst DH got on the phone and sorted it out and explained it al to her, so anyway thats sorted and she is happy, but my petrol tank isn't.

I'm annoyed with DD as yesterday when we were trying to sort the above matter out she got a text asking if she could go to a friends, obviously she couldn't as didn't know how long we would be or what time we would get home so had to say no, anyway she said it's ok I will go tomorrow, which I said was fine as long as pony was done. So we finally arrived home at around 7.30 last night, I quickly made a tea of egg and chips after refusing to go to the chippy on the way home much to DS disgust. DD sat watching the Brits then told me her friend would be arriving around 3pm, what friend I said, DD had gone and arranged for said friend to come to us for a sleep-over, now bear in mind she had one last weekend for birthday and is having one this weekend and DS is having one tomorrow night as well:eek: , to say i'm not impressed is an understatement:mad:, friend is also not the easiest to feed, so no idea what they are eating, she doesn't eat rice/pasta/ baked beans/mashed spuds/ cous cous/salad/ fish/salad/veg:mad:, was making a pasta bake for tea not sure what to make now, maybe sausages, help.

Back to money - well there is not a lot but we are getting through the month, received £4 from pin£cone yesterday. no bids on ebay item, also have a couple of items to put on ebay but could do with a free listing slot.
At some point today I need to go and buy 2 birthday cards, engagement card and christening card.

    Today's plans are:

    Buy cards.
Wash DD bedding an make sure rooms tidy.
    Clean bathroom.
    washing/ironing.
    Animals.
    Bake cakes/biscuits.
    Remove cobwebs/dust from living room.
    Go through bills.
Order new swimming costume for DD.

I'm sure there is much more that needs doing, better start by getting dressed :rotfl:.

Annoying...but on the other hand, excellent excuse to do less housework ;)

  • Morning brizz, no idea about the LV from pinecone as I get paypal payments.

Good idea about the toast, I'm thinking dry with a glass of water :rotfl:, could give them Panini's for tea with chips again :o, I think she eats cheese and I have ham, bacon and other bits that could go in them.

Might feed the kids earlier and Myself and Dh can have something later, can't stand sitting at a table watching a fussy child eat or should I say pick.
  • Less housework sounds good.

    Must go and get dressed.
  • Oh god I feel your pain with fussy eaters. Mine will eat what they are given as i've never stood for fussy eaters (even though I was one myself as a child :p:o ) and one of the kids I look after is a little b^gger, she hates anything with tomatoes which seems to be most of what I make (didn't realise this until she came along lol) and the more she hangs around my children the more my children keep trying it on *grrr* Makes me so cross i've shouted at her a few times because one day she will eat something then another day she hates it and makes such a song and dance about it that none of the other kids will touch it either! Urgh.

    *and breathe*

Also annoying about hoover, ours went before xmas but we held on for sales to get the new one. Good luck with all those jobs today, I have done some housework but kids are messing it up as quick as i'm cleaning it lol :wall: so have kind of given up now!

  • Hi DFW, fussy eating is one of the things that really bugs me, My children always get a lecture before going to anyone's house to mind their manners and eat what ever they are given.
The more I speak to DD the more I get the feeling this child has invited themselves and DD didn't really know what to say, whilst we were sorting the pony, DD asked me if it was rude to just invite yourself to somebodies house, my answer was yes very!!

All the animals have been sorted, 3rd load of washing is on and porch has been swept, moped and shoes sorted out, bathroom has been sprayed i've left it to soak whilst I have a quick cuppa.
