  • Well another day has flown by, to be honest I'm not sure where this week has gone, I'm sure it doesn't fly by as fast when I'm at work.

DD friend was dropped off yesterday an hour and a half early  her parent dropped her off at the bottom of the drive and just drove off:eek:, even though DD sent 2 messages to tell her no you can't come early mum has errands to do, anyway she ate tea panini's and chips followed by choccy mouse, not exactly healthy but there you go, a, anyway this morning I was out in the garage putting washing on came back in the house and said to DD where is friend, my daughter said she has gone, no goodbye and thankyou for having me, just left, again parent hadn't come to the door either as she would have had to walk past garage and I would have seen her, Is it me or is this not rude, i always go and speak to parents that have had my daughter overnight to make sure they have behaved and to make sure DD says thankyou, maybe it's me.
Oh and then I went up to DD bedroom to find that late last night DD friend had decided to get DD paints out and has got spoldges of paint on the carpet:mad: I'm livid, DD has had a boll*c*ing, she knows the rules about not painting in the bedroom, only down stairs where the floors are wooden and spills can be cleaned up easily, so spent this morning scrubbing a beige carpet trying to get out black and red splodges, most of it has come out there is still one faint mark though.

Went into town this morning as I needed to get cards and a present, more washing and ironing, sorted all the animals, baked a couple of cakes.

Currently have a house full of boys, they are being really good and are currently paying xbox.

Tomorrow I'm going to buy a hoover, will need it after a houseful of boys.

On the money front there is not alot but I'm sure we will get to the end of the month ok, positive thinking and all that, sold an item on ebay making £15.

Waiting for Mr PWPS to arrive home so we can have Tea, need him to get meter readings for me, aswe are chsging supplier and I can't battle under the stairs on my own :rotfl::o.
  • I would never just drop the boys off and not see who they are with, nor would I not go and collect my child and not talk to who has had them! I agree, very rude!!!!

Ditto from me, I agree very rude.

DS1 has a friend whose Grandma lives near us. He often just turns up at the door when he is visiting his Grandma. When it's time to go his Mum pulls up in the car outside the house and beeps the horn for him. So rude!

  • I agree and wouldn't be inviting that friend back again! Rude! Especially by the parent she should know better! I dropped my ds1 off the other day for a sleep over (not that they slept at all by his moodiness the next day ) and I got out and took him to the door :p much to his anger haha (he'll be 16 in october) I was half being polite and half checking that Chris was a Christopher and not a Christine haha xx

Another one here who agrees that the parent and child were very rude. Once one of DSs school friends came for tea and asked why there was dust on the telly. He was never invited back. Manners cost nothing. (And apparently he lived in a tip anyway!)

  • Thanks guys I'm glad it's not just me.

I'm feeling a bit ropey today, sore throat and bad head, I hope I'm not coming down with anything, anyway I've told the kids quiet day today and nobody is coming over to play.

I've not managed to get anything on ebay:( and have an inbox full of surveys to do, just don't feeli like doing anything.

DD has gone off shopping with her Dad, she is spending some her birthday money, she is also going to Boots to buy shampoo as the one I buy isn't good enough and her friend has been telling her about a designer one that is fantastic, told her she has to buy it herself I'm not spending £8 on a bottle of shampoo for her:mad:.

Need to check banking and see how little I have left to last until payday.

    Hope evryones ok, take care.x.
  • Get well soon Xx
