  • Hi cottage, no problem and thanks for th get well wishes.
  • Have chucked a ready made pie in the oven, not sure whats going with it, think it will be mash and peas, nice and easy.

DD has made some fairy cakes for packed lunches as everything I baked over the last few days has vanished with all the kids that have been running around the place.
  • Gosh can't believe that I havn't posted in a week.

Been a mad week back at work and school and trying to get back into the swing of things.

It was Pay day on Friday, so I've paid the bills that were due, spent £38 on a birthday present and card, no more birthdays this month but a few in April

Today I have spent most of the morning baking, catching up on housework and washing.

I have managed to list 5 items on ebay and have one more to list but I need to go and sort tea out, currently have a chicken roasting, need to do the potatoes and veg.

DH took DS to football and then took DD riding which mean't I had a nice quiet morning to get on with things, DH has gone out on his bike this afternoon, mad man it's chucking it down.

    Hope everyone is ok.x.

  • Thanks Brizzled.

Lovely tea and the kids washed up which is a bonus.

Have listed 2 more items on ebay, remembered I hadput an Item of DD away that she had outgrown and it was only whilst we were sat at the dinner table that I remembered it, hopefully everything will sell, would mean a bit more the pot.
  • What a beautiful day, really feels like spring today, I love it when the weather is like this it makes me feel so much more alive.

WOrk this morning, which was fun as everyone including children were in good moods.

Nipped to Mr T on way home from work, Just a small top up shop for the week, shop was £24.59 but got it down to £16.39 after vouchers:D, did forget plain flour for the pancakes tomorrow though:mad:.

came home and letter regarding DD secondary school choice had arrived, she has got into her first choice :j:j:j, it's a fantastic school and to say we are happy would be an understatement.

    Received a payment of £20.40 from reward£d 0pini0ns.

Went and mucked out this afternoon and took DD for a hack after school, ran part of the way trying to keep up with the pony, have to say i'm starting to lose weight with all the mucking out and walking I'm doing, lovely being out in the sun as well.

Stupid ebay questions have started, I'm sure some people are idiots, best one has been someone asking for a BIN price which I agreed to and put the bin on the item, well person didn't get in fast enough and someone else bought it,person sent me a stroppy message that I'd promised them the item, how is it my fault if someone else beet them to it, honestly some people are nuggets:rotfl:.

Quick tea of pesto pasta with some leftover rst chicken, mushrooms and sweetcorn thrown in, HM cake and whoopsied strawberries for pud.

Better go and get some jobs done.
  • Also forgot to say chucks must be liking the sunshine as they have started to lay again and I have had 2 today, so thats the pancakes sorted tomorrow (as long as I remember the flour).
  • Fab news about the school :):):) x
