  • Morning DFW.

Had a payment from rent into account this morning, but still short by £45 , spoke to agent yesterday and they are trying to get hold of tenant to find out what they are playing at, I hoping its just an after Christmas blip and they get their act together as up until now they have been really good tenants.

So this evening when I get back from work I will pay Barc card and Halifax.

Yesterday was a small spend of £2.00 for a dozen eggs from the farm shop, so did some baking last night for lunch boxes.

Applied for a cap one CC 0% until august and I was turned down:(, oh well keep plodding.

DH has ordered some oil, although this won't need paying for until next month, this should see us through to autumn, but its £300 we could do without spending.

Hope everyone's ok, it's feeling like a loooooooooooong month.

  • Evening, paid some bills and this is how it looks at the minute-

    [STRIKE]Barc card £156.90[/STRIKE] Paid
    Halifax cc £ 62.76
    Post office CC £32.00
all need paying by 25th

    Petrol £25.00 (minimum)
    school dins £8.80
[STRIKE]sports club £27.00[/STRIKE] OH has paid this for me
    [STRIKE]animal food/etc £20.00[/STRIKE]paid

    = £106.56

So I currently have £103.37 in bank account, so i'm only £3.19 short, which I could scrape together from holiday tin if needs be ( I really hope my adding up is right and I havn't missed anything), still no word from the tenant regarding missing money .
Oh is going to give me some money for this weeks grocery shop, but will need to give him this back as its his petrol money.

Did manage a NSD today, which is not a surprise really when I have no pennies to my name:rotfl:.

Made a lovely pork casserole for tea, had it with rst spuds and broccoli.

  • Hi steph, yes tights an understatement.

DFW - DH is lending me £40 for food ad I have £10 in nectar points and a £10 sainsburys giftcard, so will use the £40 IN ALDI AND THEN £20 (sorry knocked caps on) in sainsburys, have quite a bit in the freezer and plenty of rice and pasta, also have about half a bag of a 20kg sack of spuds, so should be ok. I get child ben on the 28th so will do a big shop then and then get paid on the 31st, so will be fine, it's just paying the bills on time tats the problem but I think I have juggled it and fingers crossed it will be ok.

What a nightmare about the rent. You've juggled it all around so well. Hope they pay the rest soon.
