  • Good morning, Struggling to get myself going this morning, I have a feeling Monday morning next week is going to be a big shock to the PWPS household.

Meeting up with friend this afternoon so kids can blow away some cobwebs and get out in the fresh air, fingers crossed it stays nice as we have bright sunshine at the minute.

Need to get some housework done, take down all decs, usually do this new years day, but felt too rough yesterday. Must catch up on all the wahing, were does it come from:(.

Also forgot to mention yesterday that when I looked at Finances that Barc card is now starting with a 6 not a 7 :j, getting there slowly.

Need to check banking this morning and round account down and put money into holiday fund.

    Have a good day .x.

Hi pwps, good going on the finding the lost coins and returning them to the fold.

Nana is still going, we're having "good" days when she's awake, and alert and constantly asking why we won't let her go to the toilet (she forgets she can't walk and that the carers are coming 4 times a day so panics herself that noone will come to her), and bad ones where she's just sleeping all the time.

Job hunting is continuing. Not much about that I really want to do but then I know I'm being very picky while I can afford to be. Applied for a part time (30 hours) job in the next village over which would be ideal as I could walk to and from work and that village is cheaper to rent in than this one but means I'd still be able to roll out of bed and run around my usual running routes off road.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

  • Hi Scuba - your poor nan, old age is such a b***h.

The job sounds perfect for you, fingers crossed you get it.
  • Morning.

Not a lot to report this morning, bad weather has not hit us yet but I know its on it's way, we don't even have much wind at the minute, so I'm going to get some jobs done before it does hit.

    Move recycling boxes into garage.
    Sort animals.
Bring in a monster amount of wood so I don't have to go to woodshed later.
get a few loads of washing done (washer out I garage)

Can do inside jobs this afternoon, as we definitely will not be going anywhere.

Money news, not much going on, a couple of small DD have left account, have transferred £1.70 into holiday fund and I found 10p in DH jeans which has gone in holiday tin, there will be no lose change left hiding in this house by the time i'm finish :rotfl:.

  • Morning DFW, thankyou it does feel good seeing it going the right way.

All outside jobs are done, will need to go outside a couple more times for the washing machine, but as its still sunshining and no sign of rain I can cope with that, it is only a little bit windy here I am starting to wonder if the weatherman over exaggerated, still keeping the candles ready just in case though.
  • Hope the weather stays okay for your bit Penny, wet and windy here! Lot's of fields are flooded and the rivers all high and fast. DH mentioned today that he was glad we didn't live next to that river, as we were driving past the Tweed at the time I had to disagree. Didn't remind him we couldn't afford to live by it, trying to be a more positive wife atm:rotfl:
