  • Good afternoon.

Starting to feel a little more human now after drinking several mugs of teal and having something to eat, Had friends round last night and it was a really good night although my house looked as though a bomb had gone off when I got up this morning .

Yesterday I managed to spend £65 in sainsbugs, should have really gone to aldi, but kids were driving me nuts and I just had too much to do, so went for the nearest option, also put £40 of fuel in the car.

Today we are eating more leftovers from last night, although we are down on cheese now thanks to DH and the dog, how many times do I have to tell him to not leave food out on the worktops and not leave the dog in the kitchen, DH decided to have cheese and crackers for lunch and left 3 lots of cheese out, dog ate the wenslydale and Lancashire, but chewed up the stilton all over the floor obviously decided it was not to her taste after pinching it :mad::mad:.

Have been looking over finances, budget for January has been done, not got all CC statements for start of the year but we are definitely in the 19s now and have paid 8% off, not as much as I was hoping but as I have said previously it is going in the right direction.

Great news on starting the New Year with the debt in teens.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

  • Just found £3 in paypal that I had forgotten about, this will be winging its way to Tesco cc shortly.

DH has just finished a tin of fudge he received for Christmas so I have pinched the tin and going to use it to put loose change into, hopefully save enough to pay for some ice creams or a fish and chip supper when we go on our hols.

Also need to go and find something in the freezer for tea tomorrow.
  • PWD sorry to hear your back is playing up again, fingers crossed it starts to feel better soon.

NL - blurgh to the cold, at least your mum was trying to be thoughtful with the hot toddies.

Scuba - how is your Nan doing and also the job hunting.

PLMBL - I'm getting there slowly, although still got a very long way to go, it feels good seeing it going down.

    debtfreeoneday - thankyou for posting.

Emptied purse, put 12p in tin (it's a start :rotfl:).

Pork mince found in freezer, will turn this into meatballs for tomorrows tea, can have them with spaghetti and garlic bread.

Put washing in the washing machine and set timer for early morning.

Tomorrow should be a nsd, I have no reason to go out and I believe the weather is not going to be good (no surprise there then) so we will have a lazy day at home eating chocs and watching movies.
