Good evening.
Today has been a spendy day as we have been food shopping and clothes shopping for DH.
Managed to spend £82 in aldi , can you believe that that is possible and still have a couple of bits to get in Mr T on Tuesday, at least the cupboards, fridge and freezer and bulging.
DH bought some new trousers in Matalan, I gave him a couple of bits I had picked up (xmas wrapping paper and a birthday gift) to get so I didn't have to queue and I have so far forgotten to give him the £5 I owe and I think he has to.
Ds spent some of his Christmas money in sports direct and DD didn't see anything she wanted, I again hav'nt seen anything to spend my £15 voucher on, its a one4all voucher so can be used in various places, I'm finding it harde and harder to spend money on myself.
Have tidied up bank account and £2.14 HAS GONE over to holiday account, 30p has gone into change pot and I've decided to try and save £2 coins, so one of them has gone into a separate pot, not sure what I am saving them for though.
I have found 1 item to list on ebay, will do that tomorrow as we are having a day at home chilling and getting ready for school on Monday.
Hope everyones weekend is going well and it's not to wet and windy.

Good afternoon, its a windy, wet day here.
Not really got much to update, no pennies for tin and I've hunted high and low and emptied handbags but nothing:(, also bank is tidy so no pennies to transfer to holiday account:(.
I have listed the 1 item that I found on ebay, hopefully it will sell as that will go towards tesc0 CC.
Take care pwps.x.0 -
Hello and its another wet cold day, no surprises there then, I have finally got the stove to light t as only taken me around 2 hours and now I am freezing
.
Children back at school today, I'm not back until tomorrow, so i'm trying to get a few jobs around the house done but to be honest I'm not getting very far:o, keep pottering on here and watching catch up TV, oh well.
Money is not fantastic due to the fact DH has not been paid :mad:.
some money shuffling done today to cover DD coming out, If he doesn't get paid tomorrow then we are screwed:(.
DD has come out of my account for Tesc0 cc and also DD payment to pay tax credits overpayment, that will be paid off in June and will be an extra £50 to chuck at the CC.
2p found and put into holiday tin.
Think I may have to purchase DD a coat on my next account, she put her school coat on this morning and it was so tight on her and the arms were short, she has obviously been growing during the holidays, I felt so bad for her:o, at least If it goes on the account I won't need o pay for it until next month which gives me a bit of breathing space to find the money.
Hope everyones ok, take care pwps.x.0 -

Hi guys and thankyou all for posting.
Thankfully dh wages went in but we received an email from the agents stating only half the rent money has been paid , whyis there always something.
DD went to school today in her bodywarmer with light weight fleece underneath, she said she was warm enough, so I'm wondering can I get away with this instead of buying a new coat, I'm bothered that I biuy her a new one and only gets a few week wear and then next winter it is too small, she has a mac for when the weather gets a little warmer which wil be fine for spring, Am I a bad mother for thinking this, what do you think.
It's been a manic first day back at work but It was really good to be back and good to get ack into the swing of things, also ended up going to help DH at work after Id picked kis up from school as he was short staffed.
Very quick cheesy pasta tea, was really nice probably more so as we were also starving from helping DH out.
This evening I need to catch up on surveys, do some washing and make packed lunches, I might make some cakes as wel if I get chance.
Hope everyones having a good day, take care pwps.x.
Oh forgot 32p transferred to holiday account.0 -
Glad the wages went in but arrgh to the rent hope it gets sorted soon.
r.e. the coat could you make a request on freecycle or look in the charity shops if it's not going to be worn for long?
Have a relaxing evening after your busy day.
