  • Hi mummy, it's good to not be working in an atmosphere and also nice to not have have to constantly watch your back in case you are stabbed in it, there is still one person I really don't trust but I stay away from them and tell them nothing.

Another item listed on ebay, only low value item but pennies make pounds.

Hi Debtfreewannabe and thankyou, have you got new neighbours yet?
  • That's great to hear penny - makes earning those wages so much easier and worthwhile. Bought pie sounds yum - you definitely need a break every now and again, even if a "break" is so you can catch up on other jobs!

  • Evening, just a quick update as I'm exhausted tonight.

Busy, busy day today at work but I'm loving being back.

Quite a spendy day £25 fuel and then nipped into big town with DD as she needed some bits for school so spent £4.42 in WHSm1ths and £3.85 in home bargains, I was naught and nipped into M&S but did use a £5 off voucher and managed to get quite a few whoopses, 2 huge pizzas for £2.50 and chicken and leek crispbakes for 55p, also got some other bits that were on offer but did spend £25.50 in the end.

Relisted 2 more items on ebay that finished today and hadn't sold and I listed a new item this evening and it already has a bid:).

Need to buy DD a cookery apron this week and also a text book for science, it's been never ending since she went to secondary school.

Hope everyone is ok, take care.x.
  • No, no new neighbours yet! It won't be long though I'm sure ;) xx

  • Hi PWPS!

So nice to hear that work is much better this year. I have worked in a permanent atmosphere for 5 years now. Everytime we get rid of a troublemaker, another one takes their place. Boss not the greatest with first impressions and quite a few recent staff have been dispatched at the end of probation or shortly thereafter. Since having Jellytot and going part time I tend to stay out of it, and like you, anyone I don't trust (so everyone) gets no information; only the lighthearted stuff.

Ref DD - so many posts, from FB posts by my sister and SIL regarding nieces and nephews, to various people on here - everyone is saying the same thing. School costs a fortune. I am genuinely concerned and am going to start a fund next March on YNAB with the sole intention of putting away £5 per month to the 'school' fund. Jellytot is only 2 and 5 months :rotfl: so by the time she reaches secondary school I should have enough to set her up and keep her ticking over for the years she is there. (My maths says that is £1050.. reckon it will be enough?!?)

Good luck on ebay listings. I really need to do that. And sell an old 22ct gold wedding band!
