Hi PWPS
An Ebay question - is it really worth the effort when something sells for £1.80 - Ebay FVF 10% of total sale and postage and then PP fee on top then packing, run to PO etc? I am only asking as I use to happily sell small value items , use recycle packaging and bulk post stuff (ie one trip to PO a week) but now I am not so sure its worth it..........lots of my LV stuff going to CS shop now and I am collecting Nectar points which seems so much easier. Still using Eb*y for HV items though. I was just interested on your thoughts on this. TBH I havent done the maths on LV items I have sold but I am beginning to get a feeling that Eb*y is not the place it once was........... but I cant stand carboot sales, there is no local FB selling page, tried Amaz*n and G*mtree but couldnt get on with either.............. so Eb*y it is:(Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

I suppose it is a personnel preference thing, to me yes it's worth it because I always think that pennies make pounds, I usually pass the post office a couple of times of week so not going out of my way, mostly use recycled packaging etc, everyone's different some people hate doing surveys and find them a waste of time, some people like doing them (myself for instance), so I guess you just have to weigh up whats best for you.0

Igamogam, why not start up a fb selling page for your area ? Someone has to do it, and its amazing how fast it attracts members once word gets out. Doesn't cost you anything but time. Ive sold heaps (and bought) on ours, so easy, no postage and cash exchanges hands with no fees !Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0

Rural area where we all know each other..............:rotfl: There is one for The Town but doesnt really attract much as far as I can see.
Just listed a few things on Eb*y - my new method is either £4.99 and free p&p for LV items that are light and £9.99 with free p&p for HV items that are light. Anything with any weight will have p&p added..........will see what happens:DBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Morning guys and thankyou, I really do hope all the extra pennies add up and the debt starts to come down a bit quicker.
Well so far this morning I've chucked beef and veggies in the slow cooker for tonight's tea, will have it with mash, veg and HM yorky puds, washing machine is on and I hope it finish's before we need to head off to church, then I can get pegged out and another load in. HM soup for lunch today and DH is currently making us all poached eggs, must remember to take some snacks from cupboard when we go out so I'm not tempted to but anything.
DS has a footie match today and then after that we are going visiting relatives, which I'm not looking forward to as I have a feeling I'm going to get it in the neck regarding the relative that I have nothing to do with that tried contacting me before the summer.
Must make sure we have all school uniform ready and that my bag is packed for work tomorrow, oh and sort out pony and take DD riding as well.
Busy day ahead,take care.x.0 -
