PWPS!!! You are what I have been looking for!! Please please please tell me how to stew the cooking apples I have sat here!!!!! Got no idea, and everytime I looked it up it told me recipes for the pastry/crumble and not the apples!!!

Fingers crossed for the yougov money and that you manage to steer clear of the top up shop without it, and the CC... - if you do have to go into it though, it is something you can immediately pay off once the money does come in, so if it was me, I wouldn't let it ruin my challenge!

  • HI lilt, got your PM will get back to regarding surveys.

Cooking apples are dead easy to stew, peel core chop into chunks, wack into a pan with enough water to cover the bottom of the pan, add couple of spoonfuls of sugar and cook until the apples soften, I like my apples quite sloppy rather than chunky so I let them cook right down, taste and see if they need more sugar s I find this tends to be down to personnel taste I like mine very sweet rather than tart, then use as you wish.

You know your right about the CC, if I need to do a shop on it so be it I will just pay it off as soon as I get y0ug0v money or get paid.

Yayyyyyy! No ruination of the challenge! Just stick under the yougov money and you're away :D

Thanks so much for the apples recipe. I figured as much, think I am more a sweet than tart girl too :D I would never like to call myself a tart girl... LOL.

Await your PM with interest :D don't worry, just when you get to it! :)

  • Morning, spent yesterday with a mega migraine which has totally wiped me out, still lingering today,my neck is achy and I feel as though I've been steam rollered.

Picked DD up from friend yesterday with friend in tow, they have been very good and quiet. DS has gone into town with DH, DS has a gift voucher that has been burning a hole in his pocket, hopefully he won't spend it all on sweets.

Hardly any surveys done yesterday as I couldn't stand looking at a screen for too long, did receive p1nec0ne payment of £4 though.
Still no youg0v money, I will have to do a small top up shop on Tuesday whether it is there or not, but at least I tried to get through the holidays without the CC and it will only be a small spend which will be paid off straight away on payday.

Meals today have all been from stores, everyone except myself had scrambled eggs and toast for brekkie, lunch will be sandwiches or beans on toast and for tea I'm making HM meatball in a tomato sauce and taglietellie (sp) and fruit crumble and ice cream for pud.

Must sit and do a proper budget for next month, with DD being a secondary school I will have school lunches to pay for most days, I hope she will take a packed lunch at least twice a week, DS lunches will stay the same as he only has them on a Friday, I will continue to my lunch in to work everyday which will probably be HM soup.

Off to hang out some washing whilst the sun is shining, take care.x.

    Morning pwps

How you doing, has the migraine fully shifted? I'm just catching up after taking 2 weeks out. Looks like you've done fabulous with no using card but don't beat yourself up if needs must. You don't seem like the kind of person to let it build up into a debt again when you're so determined to pay if down.
Have a lovely day - I love reading your diary. xx

    Hi Penny how are you?
  • HI guys, things are a bit manic here as we have a friend staying for a week, they had to move out of where they were living and can't move into their new place until next week, at least they managed to get somewhere quickly would have been awful for them if they had nowhere to go.

Yesterday I posted ebay parcels and then spent £4.22 on cheese ad custard powder, I am now down to pennies until I get paid on Friday, still no youg0v payment and I'm not near payout with any survey sites, but that's not really surprising after such a bumper month with them.

Can't believe it's the last full week of the school hols, it's flown by but i'm starting to feel like a ready to get back to work.

    Hope everyones ok, take care.x.
