Morning choo.
I usually buy Mr sains tomato ketchup, DS never complains and I actually prefer it.
I'm thinking I am going to paint room magnolia this afternoon, at least it will tidy it up for now, will buy some gloss this morning when I go into town.0 -
Well I've spent the afternoon painting the walls, forgot to buy gloss so will do that tomorrow or the weekend, room already looks much tidier and fresher.
Sold an item on ebay or £10 and received a pinec0ne payment of £4.
Have found some blinds on ebay, just plain roman blinds, would cost £40 for them, currently have £13 in paypa1, waiting on todays ebay sale and have a few items listed to finish on sunday, fingers crossed I can make enough to pay for them before they sell.0 -
Hi PWPS.
I wrote a post then forgot my golden rule of copying it in case I lost it the other day. I've got no internet so I threw a strop and went to sleep.
Yay for dining room being painted. I know Magnolia is boring, but you could always buy a 2.5litre tin of green paint and paint one wall or opposite walls or something? My bedroom has one cappuccino wall (it's a chimney breast), one chocolate and the rest magnolia. It is very effective, especially with some pictures and photos up. And a pair of curtains to contrast in a stone colour along with cream bedding, brown throw and brown and cream swirly rugs really brings it all together. Maybe like me, you could make your room a project and do a bit as and when you get the money. I have my fingers crossed on the blinds though. I have HUGE windows so I feel your pain.
DD is only 2 and a half, and she is already a giant ketchup fan. She doesn't care what brand, so usually it is Mr A own brand. Like you I prefer it to Heinz. Much less sweet. She has it on plain pasta and will eat anything if it has ketchup with it. Unless it is couscous  - that is sprayed machine gun style as soon as it goes in her mouth.
Anyway just popping in to say you're an inspiration with all these surveys etc. I did it whilst on maternity leave. made a few £100 but I dropped it off when I went back to work. I should start that again...Lilt xx (copied it this time

Been rubbish and not updated the last few days, been busy getting the dining room sorted and it looks really nice, clean and fresh, even managed to get DH to put up pictures that have been waiting to go up for ages, only thing needed now are blinds, but holding off buying them until next month as a couple of unexpected bills have arrived.
Friday I did an ald1 shop and spent £52 and also spent £3.41 in home bargains, received a £10 sainsbug voucher from toluna, spent it yesterday on a huge joint of beef silverside, which we had last night for tea and was totally delish and we have plenty left over for sandwiches for the next few days.
Have made a few pounds over the last couple of days, £10 sainsbu voucher and £11 on ebay.
DD has wiped out my amazon vouchers with her carelessness, she has a kindle fire and can watch TV programmes through prime, she had been watching on of the Carp teen american programmes and decided to watch another series and hadn't realized that it had to be paid for, I got an email to say thankyou for your amazon order, though=t she had downloaded a free game and went to check it and saw she had downloaded a full series of unfabulous costing £23, I am furious as she know she is supposed to check with me before doing anything on her kindle.
Hope everyone is ok, take care.x.0 -

Sorry to hear about your amazon vouchers...I would have cried. Personally Penny I would take the kindle of her for a few days as a lesson. Keep going you will get there in the end. You decorating sounds lovely and your future blinds will be a perfect choice.0

Morning sweetpea, I did think of taking it off her at first, but I could tell from her reaction it was a pure accident, she was mortified that she had done it and spent the whole afternoon in tears and apologising, she knows she should have checked with me first and genuinely thought it was a free episode, not a series. I have calmed down and told her it's a lesson learn't, but if it ever happens again I will take her kindle off her and make her pay for it.0

Morning Pennywise, I feel like crying for you with the vouchers!!! Im glad DD understands though and hopefully it wont happen again. Is there anyway you can put a restriction on her buying things? My DD's have tablets and DH has put a password on so that they cant just buy things.
Hopefully you will get lots of surveys to build your actifry fund back up xxMummytogirls x0
