Good morning.
DS is still in bed and DD is up watching carp on TV, having just had an omelette for brekkie, she doesn't look to be going to get dressed anytime soon.
Thinking of putting off going to mr al until tomorrow, we have enough in for today for meals but do need my milk (I have skimmed can't stomach the full fat from the farm) and DS needs his hair cutting, so might take him to the small town and get it done and nip into the co-op or the little sainsbugs.
Debtfree- I need to have a tally of where I am regarding debt and to be totally honest I try not to do it very often, due to that thumped in the stomach sick feeling I get when I do, i can handle it better seeing it broken down in the individual CC statements, it doesn't seem as bad, I'm embarrassed to say I think we are just about to go into the 18's.
I do keep trying to tell myself that we got through last winter without putting oil or any christmas stuff on CC, also paying for the cars mot and service in cash not CC, all of these are major achievements. I will have a tot up later today and see where it all stands and maybe have a look at making a new goal/target for the end of the year.0 -

Oh I know that thumped feeling! I am just about to do a totting up myself:( Unlike yourself we have had some excruciating car bills this year some of which have gone on the CC........ I am doing my 'new year' ( September is always the start of a new year for me so I take advantage;)) reassessment and re-evaluation and things not looking great so far..................good luck with the new targets!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Had a tally up of CCs, currently stand at £19113, very depressing but nearly into the 18s.
Went into small town and got DS his hair cut, cost £6. aAlso nipped into sainsbugs and spent £34ish, need to find receipt, I hope that it does us until the weekend, I need to do some baking now the kids are back home and eating everything in sight.
Still no bids on ebay and have found a couple more items to list, will try and do those later.0 -
Another item listed on ebay, have 10 items listed now, have a couple more bits knocking around so will try and get those listed later. Surveys have been thin on the ground today, so no payouts anywhere.0

MOrning, it's overcast here and looks as though it could throw a shower any minute but i've hung out some washing and I'm watching the sky closely.
Having a day at home today, housework and cooking will be the main jobs, really need to bake as we have no HM treats, thinking fairy cakes and flapjack, tea tonight is going to be a sausagemeat and apple plait with mash and veg.
Child ben has been paid into bank account so that's looking a bit healthier, do need to have a look online for some cheapish playing out trainers for DS, the boy is a nightmare for shoes and has just about destroyed his trainers whilst at Grandma's, he only got them at the beginning of June, his good trainers are still good so not going to make them his playing out ones yet, will have a look on amaz0n and sp0rts direct.
Have a couple of bids on ebay items ending tomorrow, Will try and list a couple of bits today.
Off to catch up on diaries and surveys.0 -
Morning hun
Almost 18k and even 19k IS a reduction and that's fab!! Mine kept going up and not down and after years of trying it's only this year I seem to be getting a handle on it so you should give yourself a huge pat on the back as it's very very hard to live, save and pay off debts esp with kids and having a life so well done you xx We're in a similar boat, only I owe moreYou do amazingly with budgeting, being organised, surveys and ebay etc and I hope to follow in your footsteps.
My CB is due today too so that makes things a touch easier, tho all budgeted for and expected.
Take care xDebt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)
Loan 1 £1787
Loan 2 £1683
Total £8601 Was £393020
