I wish there was a rival marketplace to be honest.

Tried Ebid? Not as good as Ebay but far cheaper fees.

PWPS be careful there has been an increase of this sort of behaviour on Eb*y - lots about it on the discussion boards. Its ALL in favour of the buyer now. Follow procedure TO THE LETTER because you can get stung with a defect which will affect your selling account.

Faceb**k Am*z*n G*mtr** and Eb!d all seeing an increase in sellers at the expense of Eb*y I believe. I too have had a seller nnot wanting ietem but refused to return it.They opened a case against me and Eb*y refunded them - but not from my account thankfully - seems you can buy, not pay and keep and its all the sellers fault - madness!

  • Morning Ig and thanks for the heads up.

£bay item sold over night to the second chance person and I have sold an item this morning and 2 more items ending this afternoon have bids, so should have around £10 to throw at the debt.
  • Ok confession time, We were very very naughty last night and had a takeaway, it was totally yummy and i don't regret spending the £40, yes I know it should have gone off the debt, but hay ho its done now, I have been mse and saved the tubs though and washed them out ready to re- use :D.
  • Ok, back to it as i have loads to do today, need to get wahing and ironing up to date, bake as we have no cakes, clean bathroom and sweep/mop kitchen.
I have so far this morning hung out washing and put another load in.
Fed and watered animals, except for pony she will be done after lunch.
    Tidied kitchen.
CHopped some sticks and brought in wood incase we want to use woodburner later in the week.
Sorted DS out for his footie match which DH has just taken him to.

Going to finish my cuppa then start.
  • Morning pwps

So annoying re ebay. All for the greater good in the end I suppose, when it means you can have money to throw at debt - but SO annoying in the mean time. Hope you enjoyed your weekend tho, sounds like mine and a busy one.

    Happy New week!

  • Busy bee this weekend!! I too had a takeaway (Friday) and it was scrummy! Do wish they were cheaper though. Stuck to my 'usuals' and it was £8.20 per person. And I washed out the packaging to re-use too :D then emptied a cupboard and found a dozen more :o methinks I takeaway-ed too often in past times.

Hope your sellers pay up on time and yay for the second chancer! :D

  • Evening all,

Been super busy this week, work is mad and I'm totally exhausted and so glad that it is Friday tomorrow.

I've been picking kids up from school and then doing jobs at home, making tea and sorting animals, by which time it has got to bed time, have also tried my best to keep up with surveys but it's been a struggle.

Had a few spends this week -
    Fuel £30
    Birthday card and present £10
    Groceries - £3.74
    Work - £5
    DS dinner money £2.20

Managed to make a few pennies this week -
    Ebay £12.70
    P1nec0ne £8.00
    C0wd0l0gy - £4.31

All of which has been paid off the CC, I'm also waiting on £20 from m1ndm0vers and another £3 from mysurv£y.

I have had another none payer on ebay, I'm just beyond being mad any more with it, only have 2 items listed at the minute as I've used my 20 free items and I refuse to pay to list something so will start again with it in October.

DD is still enjoying secondary school and has joined some after school clubs, her confidence is soaring and I'm so proud of her and how she is throwing herself into everything and making lots of new friends along the way.

DS is feeling the pressure of year 6 and having to step up to the mark, but he will ok and will have to learn to deal with it all, he hasn't quite got the maturity of his sister, but I think thats a boy thing, in fact do they ever really grow up?

I hope everyone is ok, take care.x.
  • HI folks.

Yesterday was another busy busy day but was also a NSD, was very good before work and chucked carrots lentils etc into slow cooker and made a lovely spicy carrot and lentil soup which we had for tea with cheese panini, DH wasn't impressed as although her enjoyed the soup there was no MEAT,I told him tough, I told him I wanted to get the debt paid off so we could have an amazing holiday for our 40th, he shut up then, he was also very impressed that the soup had cost around £1 to make and had done us last night tea and todays lunch.

Whilst digging out lentils yesterday from the back of the cupboard I came across a bag of cannellini beans the best before date Jan 2012:o, but i'm going to use them anyway, so i've soaked some and I'm going to make a rustic type of italian bean stew which I can have for my lunches next week.

Today I went shopping first thing and spent £55.01 in sainsbugs and £5.40 in the butchers, also posted ebay parcel that I had been waiting payment on for almost a week, they finally paid up last night.

Made a payment last night of £6.60 to Mr T CC and I have sold an ebay item today so will send another £2 shortly.

Recieved a few freebies in the post this week, moisturising cream, herbal t bags and yesterday all boxed up in dry ice was a frozen meal to try for a certain fish company (i i captain) really bad clue I know :rotfl:.

Ok must go do some housework and then go and take DD riding.

    Take care.x.
