miolier dont use too much lavender during the day as it can make you a bit woozy as i have found out, a little is good for stress though

    hugs to all xx[/QUOTE]

Hi TWINK - I've never thought about using lavender during the day - funnily enough, I can fall asleep anywhere at any time apart from in bed! I have no trouble dozing off in front of the TV or even the computer at times! So I will just stick to night time use but thanks for the warning!

Life is good but why has everything chosen now to break down? I now have to replace DD's CD player which she listens to every night when she goes to bed. So that's another £20 Woolies will be getting out of me this weekend!

why dont you try freecycle for the CD player moggins ? you might just get lucky and save a bit of money :money:

Hi, just a late quickie from me.
W*** today, so I'm shattered and this was followed by a rushed tea of hm spag bol from the freezer, then Brownies and finally I went to collect some Christain Aid envelopes. So I reckon I deserved the 6 jaffa cakes that I've just scoffed! :rotfl: Not much os today or tomorrow so I'll catch up at the weekend.

DS2 aged 14 has told us he is trying to grow his hair long:eek: " I'm a metal head Mum and metal heads dont have short hair!" OMG he dressed weirdly enough as it is, all in black with a long leather trenchcoat. I just dont think it will suit him and told him he'll never get a woman with hair like that!

girls what you need to do is find a friend and when you go away or at xmas give the tackiest present you can also recycle what you have so far i have given our friends a light up rose a rabbit made of shells and she gave us a plaster budgie (which even the kids wouldnt but in the wendy house it was so awful) and a rosary made of beer bottle tops:eek:

Me and my dbro do this - there are rules too. You have to display the offensive item prominently in your hosue for six months. His last to me was a gold cherub head that looked for all the world like a decapitated baby - it fair gave me the willies. (It's displayed prominently in the rockery - don't tell him!). I have in the past been the proud owner of a shoe cleaning kit cleverly incorporated into a clog from amsterdam, a pink plastic backscratcher from canada and a lucky bournemouth bingo board to name but a few.

Dull dull day at w*rk and then looked after dgs while dd played netball. She is a ringer for the girls v boys match at w*rk next week. It's brilliant for her though as she's a v. young mum on benefits and doesn't get out much and the girls from w*rk are all young and lovely - that said two hours of trying to keep dgs off the pitch (or whatever they call it) is a bit much for me. She is going to play in our five a side football tournament as well and will be a ringer for me. The last time I played I got subbed on and off again within two minutes during which time I had failed to defend two goals :(

this evening I have mostly been simmering soapnuts in the slow cooker to see if they will make a liquid detergent so that I can use the quick programme. I find that if I do a short programme with normal soapnuts there's not enough time for the soapy stuff to .... er .... happen - I know what I'm talking about anyway

    good night all :)
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008
