Hi everyone.

Have just had to sort out all my passwords for the forums I'm on. They had been deleted from the comp memory, and of course I couldn't remember them. (too early in the morning lol) Have done all that now. Phew.

My 9 yr old has had a nasty cold, she is now complaining of another ear ache, which makes it two in the last three days :-(

I was supposed to be going out tonight, but have canceled as I feel so tired. Have had a lot on lately, and feel I need to just "chill out" tonight.

Today I have a Bible study meeting to go to, then this afternoon I'm meeting up with a friend for a couple of hours to chat. Laundry to get through of course lol. I've just taken a loaf out of the bread machine, ready for us to have dinner time. I need to get my shopping list up properly. Have started one, but it needs finishing off.

That's about it I think.

WELL I HAVE BEEN UP SINCE 2am SO I LOGGED ON TO HERE AND IT SAID MAINTANCE WORK WAS BEING DONE AND IT WOULD BE BACK AT 2.30... SO I WAITED .. THEN IT SAID IT WOULD BE DOWN TILL 4am, SO I WAITED !!! .. THEN SAID TILL 8am .. SO I GAVE UP, JUST CHECKED NOW.. AND HERE YOU ALL ARE !!!!!

Morning everyone

Wet and miserable here. At least the plants are looking better for it.

W**k today - I will be SOOOOO glad when I finish this blasted photocopying. Four hours of photocopying every Thursday is not my idea of a productive day - or an enjoyable one for that matter.

No improvement in DD's ear yet. She has had a heavy cold though and the nose drops seem to have made a difference to that so I'm hoping that now that's almost cleared her ear will start to drain.

Need to get DS out of the shower now and wake DD up. Roll on tomorrow and the end of the SATs.

Mrs-mix - cant believe the cheek of some people, pinching your DS trainer's. I hope you've reported the theft to the school, and the police and at the same time, ask for compensation! Sorry - I read your later post saying that you did report it, I think they might think differently once they know you'll get the police involved.

Anniestar - thankyou for asking, SATS are going well for DS. He seems so layed back. But I hope this is a confidence attitude rather than a "bum" out attitude! Im glad your cat is on the mend, we are excited about the arrival of "charlie" on Saturday, he's spoilt allready. I hope he settles in well with the other cats! He will fill the gap of my other cat I lost recently, but I know he will never replace him!

DLB - our school is doing the healthy lunch box thing next week. Its so unfair! I dont agree with it also, but who can we complain too? Your'e right in saying about kids being targeted. Cheeky !!!!!!s ref your phone call! Im surprised you kept your cool with them! or did you? lol After chatting on MSN last night, I hope you get it sorted.

Donny-gal - thanks for the link ref baggage - and thanks for your tips. What a pain in the as5, but I guess they cant be too carefull! How do mum's get on with small babies who are bottled fed? Are they allowed the milk on the plane?

I had a surveyor come out yesterday from the council, looking for ways to improve properties within the borough, hope to make the improvements by the yr 2010. Well, here goes, they need to re-design my kitchen and have the cooker situated with worktops either side (at the mo it stands oni ts own, as no room to put it anywhere) they may end up extending it into the outhouse (thats where my DW, WM & TD are at present, no room in the kitchen to put them either!), electric fuse box is 20yrs old, may need whole house re-wiring, back boiler has to come out, and combi boiler to be put in, hand wash basin to be installed in the down stairs loo, new sink in the upstairs bathroom & new tiles replacing and the bricks need sorting out as damp is causing the bricks to crumble, loft insullation needs to be doubled.its only half the thickness it should be, and Im loosing my heat through the roof and a lot of pointing work needs to be done outside. Aswell as sorting out a huge crack travelling up the side of the house casued by a new window being installed and they knocked the brick work. Erm - think thats it! Thatsjust one house, gawd knows what the others will be like!

Got to keep an eye on our new milkman, Ive not been getting the deliveries I was promised, plus he was trying to charge dlb double for her milk last week. Im keeping a spread sheet, of what Ive received, date etc. So I know where I am with him. If he fluffs up again this week, I will knock it on the head. And the milkman! lol

HM spag bol for dinner later.

Ive been given a set of weighing scales (bathroom type) and compared to my mum's (when I borrow hers) Im 1/2 a stone heavier! I think I will stick with my mum's scales! :eek: Or it could mean that I have lost half a stone! (I wished)

WM & TD working over time, needs must whilst the weather is awfull.

hello everyone.
busy day today, DH has a 2nd interview for a job today which he thinks that he's got, they seemed really keen at the 1st interview and they called him back for a 2nd the same day as the 1st, so fingers crossed. so i need to drop him off in manchester city centre for that, then when i get back i need to load the wm.

i have my final baby massage class today so i'm looking forward to that. then i need to ring round and get quotes for a gargage door as the spring in ours has gone and the door has started to rust quite badly. i hate spending money.

then i have to blitz the front room. we have a no shoes policy and on sat when my MIL came round to pick up the baby she forgot and trailed dog poo on my living room carpet!! i was not best pleased, she managed to clean most of it off but now i have a clean patch! i'm gonna shampoo the whole room tomorrow so i need to clear the crap today.

am off to Shrewsbury with my DSister and her DP to keep her company as he has a 2 hour job interview, a little shopping planned for us!:D

DH has the day off to do some repairs to my car, luckily he used to be a welder before his health problems so hopefully he can repair my door for me, also put my tyre back on after it was repaired fron the puncture.

Tonight we are hoping to go to the races, an evening meeting at Ludlow, if the weathers ok.

Morning all, very glad I didn't walk out on my job on Tuesday as yesterday was much calmer and I managed to get so much done! The boss is away today so a nice calm day again for me.

I dumped the guy I had been seeing last night, what an arrogant pillock! I am well rid of him. Quite frankly I am in the frame of mind where I would be quite happy spending the rest of my life without a man around. They all turn out to be no good in the end. (Math excepted of course)

I'm working late again tonight so I must fish something out of the freezer for tea before I go, i managed to hoover through the house, sort the laundry out and put the clean stuff away, cook tea and then clean the kitchen floor last night all before 8pm so I was quite pleased with myself.

Good morning to all who have posted and all who follow. Was so tired last night but remembered the lavender, TWINK, and put extra drops on and slept like the proverbial log AND feel as though I really have slept! Yipee - first time in ages!
Collecting DGD from pre-school by bus (OH has my car because his is being fixed) - haven't been on a bus in years so quite excited!
CATOWEN - congrats on your win. £50 is £50 - every penny counts. I hope you treat yourself with it!
TAPLADY - well done on the weight loss!
HARDUP HESTER - You tell 'em girl! Why do employers think you work for them for love and that the pay doesn't matter?!
JRC - it is so rewarding when the LOs eat it all up, isn't it? I'm glad the spag. bol. was such a success - you'll have to post the recipe!
NEWSTER and ANNIEBOOKLOVER - hope both your DDs ears are OK? MY DS2 had ear probs yesterday and we had to make an emergency appointment with the GP.
CRAZYCHIK - it will be great to get all that work done to your house - when it's all finished, of course!
I'm so cross - have just heard on the radio that they're going to close another two and a half thousand post offices! That makes my blood boil - how dare they affect whole communities like that? I use my little local one all the time rather than the one in the nearest big town, because I think it's helping to keep it going and now they'll probably close it!
I don't have to cook tonight because we are going to DS2's and his GF's for tea - I'm taking pudding and have found a lovely Apple Brown Betty to make for which I already have all the ingredients so I can still keep my store-cupboard/freezer challeng going! I shall also make them a loaf of DANNAHAZ'S delicious bread.
It's very warm here but looks like rain so I will have to use the TD, unfortunately! Have two loads of washing to do.
Well, must go - will try and pop back with a coffee later before I fetch DGD! (((hugs))) to all who need them and have a great day, everyone!

Morning all

My stomach is churning DD taking her RE exams today, she is predicted an A* but if she misreads the question!!!!! I have just sent her a text saying that she should read the question, read it again then take a minute to think before she writes......and told her how wonderful she is whatever, she is such a perfectionist she will be so upset if she comes out with an A.... she will be distraught if she got a B....anyhow....cross my fingers and hope.

Just sent my hubby a wanted ad in the form of a text asking for a kind, romantic and attentive man to take me out for a meal tomorrow night, he replied with "well, I am going out to that resturant so I can give you a lift if you like" good job I love him for his sense of humour!!!!

Today I have to go to the dentist just to see if they will take me on! I am already at a surgery but want to change to one closer to home. However, I have alot of dental treatment so unsure what they will say.

And on that scarey thought I will wish you all a lovely day.

Good Morning All

(((Hugs))) if needed.

As Tiredmum said is grey and wet in Essex though looks like might brighten a little. Have no ironing but loads of washing but will see if it does get a bit brighter before I chance it.

Builder here again today so think will clean upstairs - dont think he is doing anything too messy. Need to also pop into another village to go to the bank. A little bit of office filing is required also. But dont mind today as tonight am out with my mates I used to work with, we were meeting once a month but coz of my broken wrist its been nearly 8 weeks. Am really looking forward to it - we are going to a buffet chinese and we always have a laugh.

Hopefully that will perk me up as been quite low lately - think also have PMT so family are suffering at the moment. Oh also remembered another bonus - the inlaws announced they are coming over tonight to give us our presents from when they went on a cruise (imagine ugly tacky stuff) but I will be walking out of the door as they arrive. Sounds harsh but if you knew my inlaws you would understand.

Best get on dont think DS is dressed yet.
