Cant see that anyone has started todays thread, so thought i would start it, then double check while i go and get the sticky!!!
Be right back!!!!
Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 16/05/07. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!
When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.
Hello again,
Not used to there not being a thread already started - never mind!!!
Bit of a quieter day today for me, i have 2 LOs here, but one of them is at nursery this morning. Need to catch up on some sorting out, which i can do whilst playing with the LO, think we will make toilet roll binoculars today!!!
Still excited about my premium bond win yesterday - only £50 but better than nothing, especially as i didnt realise i still had some bonds, though i had cashed them in years ago, and its the first payout in over 35 years!!! Im hoping my winning streak is going to continue, will be back on the comp board later!!!!
Well, need to finish my cuppa and get my clicks done before the LOs get here,
Have a great day everyone,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Catowen & all to follow
Glad you have so much luck ith comping, I tried it for a couple of years, but never won anything.
Work for me today & I'm taking bank statements & wage slips with me, my wages still haven't arrived & today is the day I lose my temper, which won't be a pretty site. bythe end of today I will be in the red & I intend to make it quite clear that I expect my bank charges repaid by my employer.
I hope everyone has a great day, hugs to all.

Morning!
Well done Catowen on your win! ( reminds me my mum bought me a lottery ticket for last night i will check that in a minute!)
Well today is ds2 school trip to a nature/bird reserve, and its pouring down, but after yesterdays phone call from school which i wasnt happy about, iv made sure they cant comment on what hes wearing, he has waterproof trousers and jacket, hiking boots which dh waterproofed with some spray last night, thermal socks and vest and waterproof cap!!!
Im still mad they rang me, they know i have 3 boys who all play football throughtout the winter, so i have waterproof stuff coming out of my head!!!
CALM DOWN!!! LOL
Sorry was nearly off again there, dd stays for dinner today at nursery so gives me extra time alone to get jobs done, plan on doing the ironing.
Tea tonight is HM pizza, and hoping to make a prune chocolate cake.
Have fun everyone
Donna

Morning everyone. Hope everyone is well. I haven't had a chance to read the rest of yesterdays thread yet.
Well, we made an offer on a house yesterday, sealed bids, and didn't get it. It went for what seems like an enormous amount of money. I keep telling myself, c'est la vie, but it's hard, the house needed lots of work so we'd spent hours going over costs and thinking about it and what we would do. I am feeling a bit sad about it, but in the grand scheme of life it doesn't matter. We are very lucky to have what we have and to have each other (OH keeps reminding me)
Today, eBaying (AGAIN), go to the shopping centre nearby to take something back to Debenhams (eeek, I haven't been near proper shops for ages!) and ironing.
I am finding eBay addictive at the moment, I can't stop checking my seller account. I have one item with 24 watchers, bids already and 3 and a half days left to go, how exciting!
Hugs to anyone who needs one x0 -

Morning all
I'm treating myself to a late morning at w*rk - oh the joys of flexi time. The Grease DVD is still lost so the late morning gives dd another chance to look for it. She dreamed that she'd found it last night - bless. It was only £4 from woolies so I might treat her to another one if it doesn't turn up. right off to have a luxury morning bathI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Morning all.
weathes looks like it is about the tip it down :j i am dressed and chilling while drinking my cup of tea. kids not awake so will go upstairs and be noisy in a min. ( but i need my cuppa in peace first)
i made a gorgeous spag bol last ngiht. was a mary berry recipe and it contains finely diced carrots and celery. anyway my daughter helped me. she loved spag bol, but won't eat the sauce/mince. only spag. and then it has to have no mince on it. anyway i mxed the sauve in with spag so it was all coated. served it up and my daughter ate 2 huge bowls plus home home made herb bread. i was sooooo chuffed. my son ate 2 bowls as well. i don't cook this recipe as much as my other as it cost's slighty more. but i think from now on i will. :T
What to do today.
Dishwasher to empty
WAshing machine to empty and i think go on airers
Laundry to put away ( only a few bits)
Kids clothes cupboards to sort
List on ebay outgrown bit's
Bread maker on.
plus the usual hoovring , dusting , clean loo etc etc.
hope everyone enjoys their day today.0 -
