Congrats Chocaholic110, glad to hear all is well so far this time, hope the rest of ur pregnancy goes well.
I really am gettin sick fed up putting on my sexy stockings everyday!! They don't half make my legs itch and when it's hot (which luckly in Aberdeen ain't that often) it is even worse!! But look on the bright side I suppose it will be a bonus in the winter!!Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
Hello all, I'm now two days overdue and can hardly wait to meet little one. But haven't felt much yet
Have had a few period like cramps but nothing serious... thinking about going on a hike and then having a pineapple vindaloo washed down with Rasberry Leaf tea whilst bouncing on the swiss ball!!!! Heck I might even have to resort to s*x....
Can anyone tell me how quickly things start? Do you have a few days of cramps or does it all sort of start off and you just know it has??

I think everyone's different janinegr
best advice is to be as active as you can be and to try not to get too impatient... babies have a habit of coming when they're good and ready no matter how much pineapple curry you eat0 -
Well the end is in sight.
I'm coming up 38 weeks on Thursday and will be finishing work on Friday. I am so pleased the end is in sight and I'm actually really looking forward to the birth (am I a bit weird?)
I'm still struglling with my hips and pelvis and having hydrotherapy every Wednesday, which is really helping and I've also been using a TENS machine for the last fortnight which is brilliant.
I had really back back ache last Thursday and didn't think I was going to last the weekend, but I'm still going. Hopefully thats a good indication that I won't be too much longer. I'm seeing the MW on Thursday who will let me know if baby is anymore engaged than the 1/5th he was last visit.
Just need to wash the last few things and we're completely ready, just need a baby. DH and I are enjoying the last few weeks of freedom together and going out for quite a few meals and spending time together as I'm sure it will be a while before we actually get time together when one of us isn't shattered after baby arrives.
This pregnancy seems to have go on forever and I'm sure these last few weeks will really drag, but I'm really looking forward to meeting baby.0 -
I'm really worried about my SIL - she is 18 weeks pg and last night spent 4 hours up the hospital as she had had some discharge and is feeling really rough. They have told her it might be a water infection and to go home and rest, but I'm so concerned about her.0

Justie is right everyone is different
I went 2 days over with my first, i felt weird at 6am, then exactly 10 mins later it happened again, and then 10 mins after that it happened again....
by the time the next one turned up at half 6 i knew i was in early labour and started phoning people!
DD born at 8.22pm (after 12 hours of labouring, followed by 2 hours of pushing, episiotomy and forceps to prise her stuck head out!)0 -
OK, has anyone thought about names yet? This must be the hardest decision EVER! DH has to mull suggestions over for a few days and the I get the 'no, don't like it'!!! And I won't even dare discuss names with my family as they are so very pass remarkable
Congrats, Chocaholic! x0 -
we picked our names right at the start,
my only advice to you September is to keep it between yourselves,
even when you have definitely picked, if anyone asks say "oh, we are still deciding" and the subject is usually dropped, if you say "ohh we decided to call it XXXX if its a boy or YYYY if its a girl" you will get stories about every ex boyfriend, ex girlfriend, friend, work mate and general idiot who had that name
for some reason people (especially family) will do ANYTHING to put you off the name you have carefully picked and fallen in love with, whereas if you keep it to yourself and introduce newborn baby as XXXX or YYYY people will only ever say "awww thats lovely"
you want to know our choices??

Others on the list include Nathan(iel), Jonathan, Benjamin and Joshua...
We're going to wait until he's been born before we decide properly though so there's no rush
if the scan was wrong and it's a girl then we're stuffed :rotfl:
and Welshlassie sorry to hear about your SIL hope she feels better soon.0
