How are you feeling, Sarah? x
:grouphug: to all those suffering the dreaded MS xxx
I had it all day and every day with Poppy but nothing at all this time.
I'm veggie and don't eat dairy too much either but for some reason had an obsession with Sainsburys egg mayo and cress on brown! I found it lined my stomach for quite a while and really made a difference. Also citrus fruits did it for me! Even the smell of oranges in the fruit bowl made me feel better.
Hope Fritha is a Mummy by now (or she is too busy nesting to log on!).

Yep on the citrus fruits
I'm eating loads of oranges as they definitely make me feel better - so long as I don't mix them with my milk LOL
i'm avoiding egg and mayo where possible as have developed paranoia about badly stored eggs and mayo *sigh* don't know why but I've got it in my head that supermarket don't store sandwiches properly - although before I got pregnant I never had ANY such compunctions... Morning all,
Well, I am heading back home to see my folks at the end of the week which they are both thrilled about.
Problem is it seems to be the time where my casual trousers aren't fitting the best. I remember there have been posts about how to extend the life of your usual trousers but I can't remember how far back.
What do you ladies do? Use the hairbands around the buttons; or a belly belt

Lots of people go down the long tops and hairband approach AF but if you are going for 2 weeksyou will probably need maternity stuff (or at the very least a size up) by the time you get back. Baby is about to start to grow quite quickly and will take you with it!!
Is it cheaper back home? Maybe you can get some maternity shopping done whilst you are over there?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
MFD - that's what my mum said "remember we do have shops here"
just wanted a few basic mix and match things before i go but there is nothing in the shops right now.
oh well, just looking forward to hearing the heartbeat today :j0 -
All us pregnant women are wearing the same blooming mix and match basics here though AF! Buy some stuff over there and at least you won't end up wearing the same maternity trousers (peacocks) and t shirt (dorothy perkins) that I am wearing (and probably loads of other pregnant ladies out there right now!)
I am working from home today sat on a gym ball to see if it stops my awful coccyx pain. So far no pain in my coccyx but my back is aching! I can't win! Oh well, at least I have cut 90 minutes driving out of my day!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Yep - mine were really sore for the first 10 weeks. I still get shooting pains internally which I assume is just the plumbing setting itself upbut this itching has come from nowhere and is SOOOOO distracting. Its not like I can sit and have a scratch at my desk for relief:rotfl:

Itchy boobs, yes but not nipples as yet. And I have been having 'shooty bobby pains' since the beginning too. Something else to look forward too!
It still amazes me that some women go through pregnancy without ever knowing (a girl who used to work for me didn't realise until she went into labour and her mother was a midwife!!) :eek:please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120
