mazcabs if you have a next outlet store near you check it out too, i got my trousers in there for 4 squid! tops where all 3! Also at the end of summer, dorothy perkins put their short sleve t's on sale for cheap too, my friends bought me loads of maternity ones as a suprise and they where fine under cardies :)

i got some maternity clothes off ebay - my bump is low and i find i need maternity trousers, bigger size clothes just arent comfy. tops - i just bought the long tops and smocks that are in fashion, mainly from primark as its cheap and cheerful! im 32 weeks now and finding that the maternity clothes i had bought are feeling snug now and im comfier in huge jogging bottoms when sat at home.

I keep seeing different information about this everywhere: some books/sites say 32 weeks, some say 34, some 37 . On another baby forum I use, one lady has been taking it since 30 weeks

I've just got mine from Holland & Barrett (I'm 33 weeks), but haven't had any yet. I can't remember when I started taking it when I was pregnant with DS - about 35 weeks I think, so I'll probably start within a week.

Not sure whether it actually does anything, but I guess it can't hurt. I quite like herbal teas anyway, so it'll make a nice change. :)

BTW I had no tears or stitches with DS - am pretty sure it had nothing to do with the raspberry leaf, but I'm not taking any chances! :D
  • Hello, my name is SeptemberBaby and I am officially a Nappy Buying Addict!!! :o

I really do think I have bought too many Newborn packs (14 at the last count) and couldn't resist buying yet another Huggies pack today from Tesco just to get the free Baby Beginnings Basket (which really is lovely, by the way...).

Do you think they would let me exchange some for the next size up? OR, do the more experienced Mum's think I might even need more Newborn size? How many nappies do I need per day?

I'm getting really worried about everything now as I'm nearly 30 weeks - how did that happen?!

  • september - i wouldnt buy any more newborn for now, whats the next size up? mini? im pretty sure they go from 6-7 lb to about 13lb so a few packs of them could go in your trolley if your determined to keep buying!

well girls, this week officially sucks, remember my rant post?
well all was to get better today as OH was coming home, he left at 6pm and it generally takes about 4 hours, maybe a little more with bad traffic to get home...
but no, over 6 hours later he is still about 200 miles away, sat in a car park waiting for the RAC to tow him somewhere to pick up a courtesy car so he can get home and then they will deliver our heap of a bloody clown car sometime soon,
he probably wont be back til 5am

    ugh.
  • it got worse... its now nearly another 6 hours since i posted that... and he is STILL not home,
the courtesy car bloke practically dumped him in a place he had no idea where he was or how to get home,
he has had to go miles out of his way just to find a bit of the country he knows,... i just want him home
but hopefully it shouldnt be much longer as he is at least in the right county now,
at the moment im just upset but later on today it will turn into anger and im going to find out who left him in the middle of nowhere and pop out his eyes with a small spoon.

What does raspberry leaf tea do then? And why shouldn't you drink it earlier? Haven't heard about that one!

:grouphug: Curious George you poor soul! And your poor hubby! I feel a strongly worder letter coming on, definitely one which contains the phrase "heavily pregnant" along with some words like "disgusted" and "substandard service". Hope he's home safe and you're feeling a bit better now. :)

Big hugs CG. You just make sure you both get some rest today. Don't stay angry, not good for you. Let hubby sort it out, that's why we have big strong men:cool:

flis21, like lots of other things, it brings on labour, so stay away from it for now...
