Everything else is fine, I don't see anyone now until my 20 week scan which is actually at 23 weeks and I don't see m/w unitl 28 weeks by which time its nearly Christmas, I thought this pregnancy was dragging but I suspect its going to speed up from now on.
I can also feel baby moving now so thats helping me not to worry so much but it was still nice to have the reassurance of hearing the hearbeat today!
Think that is meant to indicate girl , I know both my girls had high heart rates , over 140 both times . Will you be finding out ?Baby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .
Thomas came home after 3 months and 2 days in hospital weighing 5lb 15ozs
Thomas weighed 21lb 4ozs on his 1st birthday , a total weight gain of 18lbs 5ozs !

Well we found out last time so it hadn't really entered our heads not to!
I quite fancy a girl this time cos i think it would be nice for my little girl to have a sister (not to mention she wants a sister) but last time I wanted a boy and got a girl so I'm kind of expecting not to get what I want!
It doesn't really matter either way does it? I just can't wait to find out!MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -
Hi to all the newbies and congrats! :T x
Have my 28w growth scan today....Poppy was 8lb 11.5oz at term +11 so here's hoping boys are a tad smaller! Does anyone know any OW tales?!. Plus I'm going to ask if its still a boy before the pink Bumbo goes on Ebay! :rotfl:
Had a lovely day with DH yesterday. We went into Liverpool and had our lunch and a good old shopping spree but its the first time I have felt the heavy and uncomfortable straining feeling of my bump!. I had forgotten what it was like and am sure it came later last time.

SB - what's a 28 week growth scan? How do I get one of those? I am pretty sure that post-20 weeks I get nada
I am feeling heavy and uncomfortable now! God knows what I will be like by the end of it! I think bubba is having a growth spurt - when I turn over on my stomach it feels like I have a rocker underneath meplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
MFD, its due to being consultant led this time as my BP and BMI are, ahem, on the high side!
. I'm scheduled to have another one at 34w too.
I also see the MW every fortnight to check my BP (and listen to the HB! :j).
I didn't have any of this with Poppy even though my stats were the samebut I have moved GP practices since then.

Hello :-) just wanted to check how Fritha is doing? Hope you're ok. x x
Elliot's settling in well, but i havent got much chance to get photos uploaded or anything yet! The breastfeeding didnt go well at all, five days of pain and bleeding because of him being quite rough and hungry loads-i had to try and express but the bleeding wouldnt stop so ive had to switch to bottle feeding :-( had a bad day when it got to the peak-and i was in tears all day feeling like id failed. but ive had to get over that and thankfully its passed and hes really contented on the bottle now.
I hope all the other new moms are doing well :-) we'll have to chat in the parents club! x xMommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)0 -
Well it's a quickie as have to go back out again - doctor has signed me off for two weeks (she's a doll) and made me give a urine sample... and promptly told me I'm going to hospital for a few days... I'm dehydrated and I have raised ketones in my urine which means I'm not getting enough fluid and food... so... chickadees I'll probably not be able to access the web a lot for a day or two... but she's happy that baby is fine - although she wants me to have a scan to check that it's not a twin pregnancy! please let it not be!!!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! SB - well at least you get to see and hear lots of baby along the way :T
A shopping trip sounds like fun...although are you sure that you can't recycle the pink bumbo???
