Can anyone recommend a decent website that sells prams etc...?
As said before I definately recommend going to a store so you can try them out, you could always go home and find it cheaper on the net once you have found one you love...

Well I managed to face an orange earlier... I know I know it's acidic etc but it was the only thing I didn't heave at the thought of eating... well... it came back up again! *insert expletives of your choice here*
Hohum... so that means so far today we're not holding much down... Managed to get an appointment with doctors tomorrow at 10:40 as the wretching was really quite violent and loads of water came up too as have been trying to stay hydrated... *sigh*
I am SO jealous of all of you who aren't being sick all the timeGood on ya tho! You do SO not want this!
Aww I really feel for you! I haven't been actually sick, (yet!!) but the nausea I have has been horrendous.
Since Friday, I've hardly eaten a thing and when I have eaten it's just been a quick snack of something cold because I can't bear to smell anything cooking!
OH has just come home from work and has had to start the tea for the kids because I can't stomach it, bless him!
He popped to Tesco and I had it in my head that I wanted tuna and cucumber sandwiches on wholemeal bread so that's what he has brought in for me.
I'm dreading going to work on Wednesday and Thursday, I work in a bakery/butchers. We mix, bake and sell our own pies, pasties, cakes etc and also sell cooked chickens, roast gammon joints and sell hot dogs and burgers at lunch times.....I don't know if I'll be able to hold up with all the smells _pale_ _pale_ _pale_
Not only that but we're off to Lanzarote next week.......no alchohol, no fags and now it looks like I won't be able to indulge in a weeks worth of munching! :undecided :undecided
I don't remember ever feeling this shattered and nauseous when I was pregnant with my son or daughter, mind you, that was a long time ago now! (11 years since the last time I was pregnant)
Rant over.....:DTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Awww that's a shame shellsuit! They do some wicked calimari on Lanzarote! And their Mojo sauce...mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I know what you mean about cooking tho - raw meat isn't agreeing with me either. Infact just being in the kitchen is not working. Had a very quick tidy but it's still a mess - then as I couldn't stomach that I tried to do some cleaning in the bathroom - that's a no too... *sigh* At this rate I'll need a cleaner before I become too big to move purely because I can't stomach cleaning!!!
My Darling Husband (yes he deserves capitals!) has today had to put up with random questions about what we'll do about testing etc - what would we do if we tested and baby had Downs? He says it's my choice but he'd be happy to keep it which ofcourse set me off crying like a baby again *sigh*...
Now he's stopping off at Tesco on his way home from work (yep not home yet!) to pick me up grapes, banana's, strawberries, dry cured ham, primula cheese and cream crackers...
We're going for the "something has to stay down eventually" approach *sigh*DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Aren't we lucky that we both have such good men! :T :T
God knows what I would do if I didn't have him, what with having a 12 and 10 yo hanging round wanting this and that 24/7  :rotfl: :rotfl:
I've just seen your list of fruit and my God my mouth is watering now! I think it's a trip to the local greengrocers for me tomorrow, I need to move my backside....I haven't seen the outside of the house since Thursday evening :eek:Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Been for my 20w scan today - everything looks perfectly normal and healthy.
We already have DS (11) and DD (7), and i've had a feeling since i got pregnant that this was my second little boy - mostly from how i'm carrying, the sickness etc. We'd even agreed on the little mans name!
Anyway, the scan showed, a lovely, lively, waving, bouncing GIRL!!! :j So much for mothers intuition!!
We've decided to keep it to ourselves so that when she come out, its a suprise for everyone else. Mum suspected i knew more when we saw her earlier - i've always been a rubbish liar!!
Now we've got 20 weeks to convince DD that a little sister would be nice - at the moment she only wants a little brother, and if its a girl its to be sent back!
FUnnily enough - the couple of people that have seen my photos this afternoon - have suggested its a boy. x:beer:0 -
Well he has been given that list and told to "grab anything else that looks juice and delishious" :rotfl:
I don't even have the 12 and 10 year olds running round and I'm struggling!
The thoughts of that calimari and mojo sauce is now making ME drool...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Hello MrsTine,
I Totally understand the nausea and sickness. I was MISERABLE for weeks! Mine was more of an evening sickness though....I could manage getting through the day, but by about 4pm I was trying to hold my stomach in at work. By the time I got off the bus, I'd be in a good trot to the house. Then, straight in the door and right to the toilet! I didn't go near the kitchen for weeks, my OH did all the cooking and washing up. To make it worse, I'd be sooo tired I'd go to bed by 9pm, but then wake up at 1am, usually running for the toilet again, and stay wide awake until about 5am, only to get up for work an hour later......Ugh!
At about 12 weeks I started to feel a bit better and it actually threw me into a panic! Oh no! I'm better, maybe somethings wrong! Now I'm 14+5 and I feel better than I have in about 8 weeks!
Stress definately made the sickness worse for me. One thing I did discover that made my nights much more bearable was drinking warm/hot milk. Even just half a mug. It calmed my tummy and I started falling back to sleep sooner. I drank it in the mornings too when my tummy was sour. Maybe try that? (although not with your oranges and citrus food! not a good mix!)Debt at highest 01/01/2008- $79,385.32

lol well as the orange came back again maybe not... I might try the warm milk - a friend of mine who's also pregnant told me the same thing so will get some milk tomorrow - we only have full fat milk as it's what hubby drinks... I can only bring myself to drink skimmed
I think I will see if doc might sign me off for a week tomorrow when I see her - the stress of keeping it all quiet and work itself and not throwing up in the office is just making me worse... so far 8 creamcrackers and a strawberry is staying down... although they have tried to escape a couple of times already... *sigh*DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Evening! I've not read this thread yet but as I'm definitely Pg thought I'd best come over here from TTC!
I did a test Friday and it was faint positive, did a digital one yesterday morning and it was positive and said I'd conceived 1-2 weeks ago.
I have very sore breasts, something I think is called Montgomerys tubercles? in my areolas, constipation, keep needing to go to have a wee, and have some dull cramps and muscle aches in my abdomen.
Me and DH had only been trying since we got married three months ago so it's sooner than we though but we're thrilled, if a little scared!
I go to see the doctor tomorrow, but I'm not sure what he will do? Or when I have my first scan? Or how many weeks pregnant I am officially and why it is different to your ACTUAL weeks in terms of conception?
I have so many questions! Anyone around to chat? I tried googling but there's SO MUCH info out there I'm not sure what's right and what's wrong.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

The dates your doctor works from is the starting date of your last period if that helps
It's because that's the most definite date. They can't be exact about what date the sperm and egg got together and implanted so they work with a "known"
It may change later at your scan
DH and I only got married in May and we managed to get pregnant first try which is a bit scary! VERY sore breasts but no constipation - guess I wouldn't have as I can't keep anything down :rotfl: I get slight occasional dull aches too but they pass quickly
Oh and headaches from being dehydrated because i can't even keep water down!DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
