MFD - I too can fall over my own feet whilst standing still. Not blessed with too much grace me, although I do try :D

wow 16+4 for you, how time flys huh. i'm 15 today and saying that, must check my email again because my babycentre email hasn't arrived

i joined the netmums site today to have a snoop around. also found the NCT nearly new sale in my area in on end of Oct which is okay, but I can't find out if there is one in the new year. I think end of Oct when i'll be 20ish weeks a bit early to take good advantage of what will be there.

    *hugs* for Gracie

MFD, much sympathy, good girl for resting, as SB said, daytime telly is a good healer, as is chocolate :-)

Btw I can see the 16+4 and the 15's I'm 39 weeks today! eeek! Although I couldn't say I was ready I wouldn't be a big mess if I went into labour now!

Oh my, the window cleaner has just arrived, I never really know what to do ro where to look when there's a bloke soaping my windows just to my right! I'm not looking forward to the day I'm breastfeeding and he's cheerfully waving through the window to say hello! lol

    Be careful MFD!!! :)

I am suffering from the most awful tiredness again. It's worse than it was in the first few months. I fell asleep on the sofa at 10am (having got up at 7) and didn't wake until gone 1pm. Now I am yawning and wishing I could just crawl back to bed. I can't go more than a couple of hours without needing to sleep.

I saw the midwife yesterday, I'm 31 weeks and all is ok. It's still a bit up in the air if I'll need a C section or not. baby is still breech which in itself isn't a problem at this stage, however there are concerns that I have placenta previa which is stopping the baby from turning. Scan in 4 weeks, hopefully it'll have moved up before then and I can just go ahead with a normal birth.

MFD - rest lots and start looking where you are going!!!! Glad that it happened outwith the sight of the construction workers though :D

Had a lovely domestic godess day baking and nesting - I'm loving it, but bump has started to feel uncomfortable. I think it's because I've had a little growth spurt and now my gravity centre has changed - anyone who has had kids before please tell me this is normal. I suddenly fee very pregnant :D

    Hi there
yep its perfectly normal as the baby gets bigger it will push your ribs up and out.
Then even later on it gets easier agaion when the baby 'drops' and starts to engage :)

How does the mw measure weight of baby. I'd like to know mine as everyone keeps telling me how small my bump is (I'm 31+2). I'm half the size of another girl in work who's 6 weeks behind me.

in your notes there should be a growth chart, when you have your bump measured she records it on this chart, along the side is the estimated weight in grams. just convert this to lbs and ozs
