I feel as young as ever though!
Cos of problems with the ex (domestic violence) I can hardly remember my pregnancy with my last child DS2 who is now 7 yrs old.
I think it is why people have the tests that is not often broached as an issue. (i.e what will they do if they have a 'bad' result...)
Also I have DS1 who has some 'special needs' and I am sure that some people would not want a child with all the problems he has, but the way i look at it no -one really knows whats around the corner. WOuldn't swap him for the world. My 3 are all remarkably different and thank goodness for variety!:D

My Mum was thought to be REALLY weird cos she had me aged 33 in 1970, then 3 yrs later she had my little sis!

    Sent you a PM Sarah.

Anyone else experiencing back pain in early pregnancy?
Basically I possible have squashed discs in my lower spine, i've not had any scans or anything but this is what an osteopath told me.
I suffer from back pain anyway but since becoming pregnant it's got worse, I'm only 6+2!
I'ts worse if I say walkround town or i'm at work then it;s really bad and sets off my sciatica.
Am I destined for horrible pain in these coming months? :(
I was under the physio at the hospital but I didnt feel any benefits whatsover so stopped going shortly beforwe I found out I waexpecting, I now am regreetting it, I cant affford to go back to the osteopath, on a regualr basis though.

I got back pain. Have you tried crawling for about 20 mins a day? You could do something like crawling up the stairs;) The hormones in your body are making your ligaments all stretchy!
My hips were dodgy, went to my gp who is also a chiropractor, and he sorted it out:)

    I have done reading too!

I either read or was told that upping your calcium helps, like eat a bit more cheese or yoghurt for instance. I would speak to your Midwife if you are worried;)
