Hiya ladies

In a bit of shock (but a happy one!!!!!) at the mo as I've just got a BFP this afternoon...

I've checked on the internet and it's giving me an EDD of 05.05.09...could I please be added to the due date list?

Off to panic a bit now as I have no idea what I have to do now...apart from get giddy with hubbie when he gets home from work!!!!!

Crazy: we told a few close friends/family, essentially anyone we'd have told about a mc anyway. I told one friend basically as soon as I found out, I said I needed some advice and she could help, turned up at her house to be greeted by her and her DH looking very worried, so I pointed at their baby and told them apparantly I was having one of them! I was quite proud of that! She was incredibly useful for calm sensible advice as well!

Mel: If it helps I keep forgetting I'm pregnant too, I'm eight months as well! I still don't 'feel' pregnant, just iller and fatter!

Keely: I get the painful baby shuffling as well, I think sometimes she streches a leg or arm out and sort of circles it round. I just wait until she gives over really! I find swearing helps!

our circumstances are going to change greatly, i.e. i wont be working for a few months, but i do qualify for maternity pay from work, we will be moving into our own privately rented house and we do not receive any other benefits as hubby and i both work full time.

Hello, well I still hadnt heard about any of my ante natal appointments and I am now 8 weeks 3days, so rang the doctors just now, nothing was booked in so they've made an app for next week when I'l be 9+3, I'm a bit annoyed to be honest, especially since I went to see the doctor as soon as I was pregnant at 4weeks.

The only thing I'm bothered about really is I dont want my 12 week scan to be delayed because of it, I'm dying to have a scan to convince myself that I am actually pregnant!!(if that makes sense ha)

I'm just so paranoid because I had quite a bad early pregnancy with my first, lots of bleeding from 8 - 13 weeks, so ended up having quite a lot of scans.

I'm thinking of buying one of those heartbeat monitor things for in a few weeks, I had one with my first but sold it once I'd had him. Does anyone else use those?

Had my appointment with the community midwife this morning and we reckon I'm due 21st April. Ive been referred to various places; feto-maternal medicine unit, recurrent miscarriage clinic, Anti-D clinic, Gestational Diabetes Testing & monitoring clinics so i think the next seven and half months are going to be busy!

We told people really early on (like as soon as I found out I was prengant in week 4) but that was because my sister was visiting from Ireland and I wanted her to know. If she hadn't been over, I doubt we'd have told anyone just yet.
