Lucifa - I only ever bothered getting 0-3mths and 3-6mths to start of with, and i'm glad I didn't bother with newborn as both my boys were big. My friend who's little girl was 6lb 13oz said her daughter grew out of newborn too quickly so this time round she is not bothering with newborn.
How far are you along, i'm not at all superstituous so I would say start stocking up as soon as you want.

The only reason I am not getting to much (esp big items) until nearer the time is due to lack of storage space....We still have to work out where our computer and desks etc are going to be squeezed into so we can free up the small bedroom.

Underwired bras.....Now don't shout at me, but I wore underwired padded bras right the way through both my previous pg's and will more than likely do the same through this one. I am quite small on top so like a bit of push up so I don't look like a boy!!! They only go up one cup size when i'm pg too.....

Thanks redmel. I'm at 14 weeks+2days. part of its the shopaholic in me itching to get pretty new things but at the same time I don't want to be huffing my bump around the shops when the rest of the world is Xmas shopping/Jan sales shopping as I can't be *rsed at the best of times with all that scrumming!

I know frineds and family will be generous but I was figuring to get bibs/sleepsuits/vests and all the little bits a bit at a time between now and Xmas. My parents are springing for the pram/pushchair which is really great and will prob only need a moses basket for first six months as Bean will be sleeping in our room. Kind of thought we'd scout for bigger things before Xmas madness starts then Hubbles can see what he can get off the wish list in the sales

Dont worry too much just looked on bravissimo and they have suitable bras up to a J and L cup!

On the note of buying things, Ive actually found it keeps me quite positive about the pregnancy, (since I had the fear of God in me about it not continuing) keeps me thinking good things.

I was going to go straight for 0-3 months as I figured a lot of people would buy us gifts which are usually newborn, plus given the rate they grow.... might only last 2 weeks!

Poppy was 8lb 11.5oz and newborn fitted her for quite a little while. Good job really as 0-3m were huge on her and she looked really silly! Also, it depends on which brands you buy. M&S I found were extremely generous but others less so. I would buy a few inexpensive newborn pieces that fit baby perfectly until the HUGE mountain of gifts arrive from family and friends!

Hi everyone, Just to say I had a baby boy, a week late, born monday 28th July at 8.33pm. He arrived very quickly (only in hospital an hour!), in the birthing pool. His name is Alexander (Alex) and he weighed 7lb 7oz. Wish I knew how to insert a picture because he is so gorgeous. His big brother (Ewan, age 5) adores him. Also, I added my name to due date list but can't remember (mummy brain!) how I did it or where it told me how to do it! I want to now add details to list under birth list. Please can someone help/remind me?

Best wishes to everyone on this forum, pregnant and TCC. I haven't posted but visited most days to read what everyone was saying and found it a great support with lots of good advice/tips.
