The thing is I have this phobia of being sick, please dont laugh:o
I've go tthat too, the lengths I've gone to to avoid being sick are ridiculous! I recommend getting some seabands from Boots you can wear them while you sleep (I used to and still do sometimes now) try and eat something before you go to bed and keep crackers or biscuits next to the bed so you can have a nibble when you wake in the night it does help.
Try normal sweets and sugary drinks as well, and eat a little and often but it does pass (or at least lessens!)
As for lady bump growth, I'm siginicantly blessed in that department as well and was starting to worry about running out of sizes I could go up to but so far my actual bumps have stayed the same size and I've gone down a back size oddly! I may have already mentioned that but er, the baby has broken my brain so I'm repeating myself sorry chaps!Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -

My friend who's little girl was 6lb 13oz said her daughter grew out of newborn too quickly so this time round she is not bothering with newborn.
How far are you along, i'm not at all superstituous so I would say start stocking up as soon as you want.

I would agree with buying being difficult. Mine was 4lb3oz when born and now at 2 1/2 weeks, and weighting only 4lb10oz, he is already in newborn clothes. Thank goodness I was too busy in the hospital to go mad baby shopping for prem baby clothes! Can't believe how tall my boy is already

Glad little Alex is doing just fine Gem!
Congrats newbies, sismith, mrsctobe, sparkle and xredwebx:j . I found the sickness bands took the edge away for my nausea.
Been looking at pushchairs (again!!). I want something lightweight and good support for the baby. I plan to use slings a lot for the first few months. I like the silvercross pop. Has anyone else got one and cd you offer me any opinions on it (good and bad). Planning to get a maxicosi isofix base car seat.
Hope everyone else is ok

Hi I am Lou and am the proud parent of a little girl. Jessica was born on 11th July 6 days early weighing 7lb 4. She is now 5 weeks old and I am just getting used to the idea of being a mum.
Now looking for work that I can complete around her so that I do not have to return to work full time.0 -

I had my baby 5 weeks ago and am still bleeding, sometimes not much.
Today I thought I had like a period starting, but a little bit of something come out. I thought maybe a bit of placenta or something I dont know.
Or maybe a blood clot, I dont know does this happen?
What else could it be?0
