Congrats dj_jenns and other half, hope she's keeping well, not long to wait eh?! Welcome aboard to slscarborough too!

I know only 2/3 weeks to go - it's very very exciting just a bit sad that its overshadowed by a death on her side of the family.

Am I the only one with an O/h that just doesnt know what getting rest means? I'm trying so hard to do everything around the house so she doesn't have to but shes up out of bed anyways doing pointless straining tasks just because lolol..

I am queasy, hormonal and absolutely shattered but other than that I am on top of the world!

I go for my scan on Monday which is very exciting, although as it draws nearer I am getting a little scared that it will tell me something I don't want to know...

I am trying to be sensible but not obsessive - there are so many things that you should or shouldn't eat and if you listen to too many people then you will end up eating nothing at all!

I am full of pains and feelings that I have never felt before which I find strangely reassuring...ah, there's a new twinge thanks to bubba!!

And I am desperately trying to stop my step son nicknaming the baby 'nugget' which was what he started calling it last week when he decided that it was now the size of a chicken nugget  the whole thought of it makes me want to hurl!

Good luck to you for a healthy, problem free pregnancy.

Aw good luck for monday, I cant believe i'm so long away from getting a scan! I know its going to drag lol!

As for the 'nugget' my nephew was refered to as that and its stuck lol, was always called baby nugget, and then nugget when he wasn't a baby anymore lol.

My hubby wants to start refering to it by a nickname rather than IT, but i'm not sure lol, wish we could fast forward 8 weeks lol.

And the healthy diet will be interesting, prior to BFP I was a drinker, smoker and more than a little overweight as is hubby, but that'll all change now, had my last sausage and chips and 'fat' coke for a while last night lol!

I wonder where September Baby is?

She's said before she only tends to come on if she's got something to say so she's prolly busy, well or not else she'd have something to report! :-) She's obviously not taking her list monitor job seriously, what are we paying her for ;-) (SB, I jest, you do a marvellous job and we're all terribly grateful, demonstrated by us missing you!)

Elle, hope the filing is suitably distracting

MFD: the first sentence of your post has described my life since January *sigh* Are we nearly there yet? Consequently, dj_jenn, I rest! I rest a lot, I do things in bursts otherwise I get dizzy, queasy and various bits of me start to ache. Himself has to attempt to keep up during one of my activity bursts!

Congrats to the new list joiners (I really want to say to the newly up the pole but don't want to offend anyone!) :-)

I had a midwife appointment this morning (I'm 34 weeks tmrw) and the baby has turned! Which would be great news if she hadn't been the right way round to start with! The little tinker is still head down but now they reckon she's back to back! *wail* I don't want to scrub the floors!

  • Hi, I am due for my first visit with Midwife next week, then my 1st scan the week after, I can't wait, just to hear everything is ok. Its so hard tryig to get to sleep at the moment, Its just too hot (even though its cooled down alot!!) I also used to just sleep on my tummy, something I am finding very hard not to do now!
Anyway I have been buying quite a few things in the various sales, mostly dresses and girly things in the hope of somehow swaying mother nature, I have 2 boys and 1 girl at the moment, Obviously I will be over the moon what ever sex. But Iv'e always wanted 2 girls and 2 boys.
I miss my mum every minute of every day  R.I.P xx
  • Fritha - it's things like that that scare me - I have to confess that I know NOTHING about what way a baby is supposed to be pointing to be born (other than head first I suppose :o ) I have a couple of pregnancy books but to be honest every time I look at them I am overwhelmed with tiredness and fall asleep!

back to back? scrub the floors?

Thank god I have you ladies to learn things from - I would be lost without you!
