congratulations xredwebx!!!!!!
when i got my BFP i made an appointment to see the doc because i did not know what the procedure was. as it happened, he phoned me becuase he had a cancellation and asked if i could come in earlier. when i said i couldn't as i was at work, i told him the reason for the appointment (he knew we were ttc) and he told me there wasn't much he did at that stage, but asked that i come into the surgery and make an appointment to see the midwife.
i have him my dates etc, he gave me an estimated due date and how far along i was etc, and when (date wise) to make an appt with the midwife.
it's the midwife 'booking' appointment that is the appointment where they fill in all the forms, explain things and take your med. history.
sorry for rambiling
take care

Nice to see a TTC'er movig over to the pregnancy board - welcome in, settle down and get ready for 9 months of hormones :rotfl: :rotfl:
Have you calculated your EDD? There are a few calculators knocking around on the internet (although if you were anything like me when we were TTC I knew exactly when my EDD would be if we got caught that month!)
I think the procedure is different in different areas - best to call your surgery, tell them that you have had a BFP and how far along you will be and ask them what to do. I didn't see my doc, went straight to the midwife...only to be told I was early and she didn't want to see me until 8 weeks
Congratulations :Tplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

To be honest, Id love to say I am feeling great, but since the day I was late for my period I have had horrible morning, afternoon and night sickness! But itll all be worth it! I can imagine its only going to get worse yet!
How about yourself? How are you feeling hun? x
