Hi All! Finally gotten around to signing up. Hubbie been nagging me for weeks. Whenever I mention buying something for the baby he tells me to sign up on mse pregnancy boards to check I'm getting the best deal. Poor baby so far only has miffy items bought in poundland! Not even born and it has a bottle, dummies and a teether - all the important things then!!

Due 4th October so adding myself to the list.

gemsygem (Sheel's daughter)- Erin Maria Lilian arrived on 5th May at 3.45pm (16 days after due date!) weighing 7lbs 10oz.
Cookie08 - 6th June - boy Tyler-Jay (TJ) - due 7th weighed 7lb 9oz by emergency c-section
Clarkey1000 - Baby Boy Oliver James arrived 7th June - 7lbs- Water birth

Just found out today my cousin is expecting in february!

Only ten weeks to go...... ive been walking around with that thought for a couple of days and trying to get my head around what is left to buy/sort out...lol...

ps-dont wanna scare anyone but i saw a young lady heavily pregnant at the hospital, really slim with a masssssiiiive bump..... poor thing was struggling to walk. I really felt for her, as it looked uncomfortable seeing her struggling to even sit down and get up again.

I'm due today with no signs of baby shifting LOL
Mum arrives this afternoon though so that'll be good, she was sure she'd miss it all.
How do you keep yourself occupied when waiting for baby to arrive (with DS I was up a tree picking cherries the day he was due - he came 3 days late) ??
Have a feeling it'll be a few days yet (although next door neighbors trampoline is looking rather appealing right now LOL)

I don;t know how you keep body and soul together while you're waiting! It's a nightmare! I'm due in 4 days and i'm ready now! Baby howevver, is happy in his little home and is showing no signs of moving anytime soon! I just want to get on with it now! He's my first and we are just dying to meet him! Also the midwife said he's going to be 8 pounds plus so i'm a bit nervous he'll be HUGE if we don't get on with it!!!
Good luck to everyone! Trampoline...Sounds like a plan!

By the way...for anyone who is going to be applying for mat. allowance- get your claim in ASAP. So far in the S.W they are running at least 8 weeks behind schedule- I was meant to get my first payment Wed. but prob won't get anything until end Aug/beg. Sept. Total nightmare as we need the money now! Oh well! Just a quick heads up on that one!

i was a size 6 and riley was 8lb14 granted i now have some problems but ur baby will fit u may even stay a slightly bigger size xx

Hi ladies-my friend was due on the 1st, and after being given three tablets to be induced still nothing is happening! She has sent me a message saying they might end up giving a c-section if nothing is happening by tomorrow. Her waters havent even broken or anything yet. She sounds really frustrated now-i hope the little one comes soon!

Evening all

I could be imagining it, but I think my lower belly is more rounded this evening than it was earlier. I'm only 6wks + 4 days.

As I said, I'm a size six and usually have a very flat lower belly (the bit your knickers cover!) and pronouced hip bones with a noticeable difference between that and a bit of a "spare tyre" bit around my belly button (I do hope someone knows what I mean!), but right now it all seems to be merging into one!

Is that what happens or do I just have trapped wind!? hehe
