Hi!
Thanks Poppyjoe and SeptemberBaby for your replies about the 1st scan and nervousness.
Well, I went for my 12 week scan yesterday and it was fine. The baby measured between 11 and 12 weeks and it had a heartbeat so it was a bit weight off my mind!
The scan was not really that clear though, the lady said I must have a tilted womb so she could not really get a clear picture at this stage. I've now read about this and apparently when the womb pops out of your pelvis it straightens up, so later scans are more clear.
Thanks for your help and good luck to everyone and their little bumps! xx
I was told when I had an early scan (7 weeks) that I had a tilted womb, so they had to use other means to view the baby! I won't go into details. The lady didn't explain what it meant property, so you taken a weight of my mind thanks!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Just wanted to add my congratulatoins rjh!! Lovely, absolutely lovely!
Has anyone read "The New Contented Baby" by Gina Ford? My friend recommended it on Saturday as she knew she had to be back at work when her baby was three months and she couldn't recommend it enough. I hope I got the right book as she couldn't remember the right name of it or the author, but I have just bought it, so hopefully it will help me out. I've still got 5 months to read it, so I should be okay.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

rdb-this has been ongoing some ppl do shave some dont tbh its never been important to me the last thing on my mind when my other 2 labours started was the state of pubic region and i think its the last thing on anyones mind.you may shave just on ur due date and then the baby comes early or very late.
well it was my birthday sunday and me and my sister her partner and my partner went to a club and what a nightmare.they had no disabled access though they advertise they do so had to go down about 25 steps on crutches having the other 3 people act as bouncers to stop other drinkers pshing me down them.it was ok when we got in there but then sis and her oh decided to go to the club upstairs we asked bouncers for a disabled access to that club to be told use the stairs or ul have to go out the first club vua the stairs and quere to pay to go on in the one upstairs but if we used the stairs inside that connected the 2 clubs me and oh and sis and ojh wudnt have to pay so was forced to go up 30 stairs having the other 3 again acts as bouncers.then when we got up there there was a fight between some other ppl and some drunk woman tried to steal my sis's drink and threatened me so we had to use the stairs to go back to the below club arghh needless to say oh and me left before 12 lol.
id not recommned going there if u cant easily use stairs ive even sent in a complaint to them as i know they have a disabled access ive seen ppl in wheel chairs in both clubs.

Aww, RHJ, Eleanor is absolutely beautiful! :jI hope you are both doing really well xxxSeptemberbaby, were you consultant led last time with Poppy? I am also consultant led which I like as we get seen for checks more often.
No, I wasn't even though my BP was at the higher end of the scale when I booked in then too. Twice I was sent off to the assessment unit to be checked over but everything was ok. During the third trimester the MW was coming out to see me 2 or 3 times a week  but I loved hearing the heartbeat so I didn't mind at all!
.
Desperately waiting for that appointment letter to arrive:rolleyes:.
