Hi ya-can i ask what are you ladies wearing bed since becoming pregnant/getting a bump? I really need to get some new pj's (or a nighty if cant find pjs) as mine are getting silly now. I cant sleep with my belly hanging out, so need something long to cover the bump! Ive always been one to keep covered up in bed otherwise i cant sleep properly-daft i know!

So where can i get maternity nightwear from? or at least long pj tops and i could get loose bottoms i guess.

    Thank you!

    keely.

When i was pregnant last time, i managed to get a maternity nightshirt. I got it from a maternity market stall but i think it was M&S. So they are out there!

I wear t-shirts and shorts in bed sometimes but half the time i get annoyed with it twisting under me and take it off.

well had the scan and the wieght at the the top of the scan paper says EFW and then the grams which converts to 5lb4 lol so a good size baby.we couldnt get a picture because hes so far head down and wudnt show his face nvm but the one thing we did see on a normal black and white scan was HAIR he has lots of hair the scanner lady showed us im so impressed he has hair.

    hope ur ok rhj xx

    Hi!

Thanks Poppyjoe and SeptemberBaby for your replies about the 1st scan and nervousness.

Well, I went for my 12 week scan yesterday and it was fine. The baby measured between 11 and 12 weeks and it had a heartbeat so it was a bit weight off my mind!

The scan was not really that clear though, the lady said I must have a tilted womb so she could not really get a clear picture at this stage. I've now read about this and apparently when the womb pops out of your pelvis it straightens up, so later scans are more clear.

Thanks for your help and good luck to everyone and their little bumps! xx

I've just had the results from my CVS test, the baby is perfectly healthy and it's a little girl. I'm so relieved I can't tell you, been in tears since the phone call.

Glad all went well with the scan, Osian! And what a relief, Toto! A pink bump!

I had my first MW appointment today. Nothing exciting as I now have to wait for my booking in appointment through the post. But, my BP was high (she tried twice!) so I'm automatically going to be assigned a consultant and she is requesting I'm seen asap!

I had a CVS test which is where they take a tiny bit of placenta to test for genetic abnormalities, the placenta has the same genetic make up as baby. I carry fragile x syndrome which is why we tested, we just wanted to know in advance if we were likely to have any problems. so, I know 100% that it's a girl. I think they can tell from scans though around now. I'm 13 weeks tomorrow but this is the first one of mine I've known before birth. I'm glad I know though.
