looking for a little bit of advice please. Just found out I am pg! Hubbie and I are delighted, although a little shocked - we had no idea it would happen so quickly!! Anyway. From using online calenders etc it would appear that I'm due 26ish Jan 2009 (very new pg as you can see).
However, we are booked to go to Barbados for 2 weeks 16th-30th dec for a friends wedding. We have paid some of this already and more money is due at the end of the month.
I know our feelings may change, but we want to go if we possibly can. Although I understnad that i may encounter health issues later on in pg, if anything went well would I be able to fly at that stage???
our other prob is if we pull out, how we explain this to our friends. They aren't very good at keeping secrets and i couldn't make another excuse.
any advice / expereince welcomed - thanks0 -
hi starting ttc
First of all congratulations!!
I remembered there was a discussion about things like this a few weeks ago, so took a look back. There is some info on posts 6413 and 6415 by septemberbaby which you might find helpful.
Sorry I have no experience in late travelling but others on here do.

congrats starting ttc. i am flying out when i am 32 weeks. you will have to check with your airline to see if you can stilll fly with them, some airlines wont after 28 or 32 weeks. the only company i got for insurance is ravenhall, they will cover you up to 36 weeks, its more expensive that boots, post office etc. but its the only one in the uk that will cover up. you will need a letter from your doctor saying you are fit to fly.
hope this helps
