carol- my belly just itchs,my oh says he hasnt seen me sleep inside the bed covers for weeks i keep lying on top of them or cuddling them.
we dont have a shower so have to use the bath oh gets me in and out now thank goodness my oh is big built or he's never lift me lol.
i have the midwife today and physio.

has anyone else found thier pets are more clingy now thier pregnant my 2 cats ones a male ones female have become very protective of me and the belly esp the male cat he's a loner cat normally but not now he is allways sitting on my belly or as close as he can get.its really sweet.

i have found my dog to be more sulking with me and wanting to get the post more. giving her lots tlc.

Congrats also to StartingTTC!! Pampers website has a pregnancy calendar & tells you what is happening to you & your baby week by week. Also has some cool pictures so you can see what your baby looks like each week too.

Honeybe - I have 2 cats too & they are very very clingy now. Even before I found out I was pregnant I saw a change in them & wondered what was going on so I think they knew before I did! Also sorry your birthday didn't go too well, wasn't The Place up Hanley was it? as they have loads of stairs!

carol9uk - Ive had the pooh sun travel system, its seems really good and lightweight but sturdy aswell.

My belly has also been cold all the way through my pregnancy, when ever i mentioned it to anyone they use to say it was cos my top was riding up - however quickly proved them wrong on that theory.

does anyone know why its cold all the while?

honeybe21 - My belly has only itched during the last 2 weeks, i used coconut butter oil that you get free with either your bounty pack/lloyds pharmacy bag (cant remember which) and that really helps straight away.

My mums rottweiler seems to be getting quite fussy now whether she knows theres a big change coming up now i dont know she seems to want constant attention however its not just off me its off my whole family, am stopping at my mums now until a week after ive given birth so maybe its cos she sense somethings going to happen.

Hi All
Thought I should join this thread now - am due on 3 July so only 6 and a bit weeks to go!! Just started mat leave on Friday there but have my final exams in a week so I haven't really had a chance to enjoy being at home yet!!

I have the most itchy bump at the moment - hope this is normal! My stretch marks especially and they are getting redder and I think slightly raised - trying not to worry!

Anyway, on a slightly more upbeat note - I had a brazillian wax at the weekend - my first ever! I was so scared but figure that I would be going through a lot of pain reasonably soon and it might be good practice...!!

It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be - still agony though!

Anyway, looking forward to hearing all the stories!! x

thanks cookie08, is that the hauk make, ive got the winne the pooh travel sytem made by them. i am into winne the pooh, got changing mat and box with winne the pooh hope i dont look to stupid as i am 34 now.

had a stressful day, shower broke on sunday night, has a water cut on sunday am so could have one in the am either. reported the shower on monday am, said i want a new one as this is the third time its broken, anyway came this am, just went to leave the house after he FIXED it to hear dripping in the bathroom. now waiting on a phone call the the manager, i living in a housing association flat, i said i wanted a new shower agggh.

Hya Carol9uk - yes its the hauk one its http://www.preciouslittleone.com/acatalog/HKDSSUNTSPHN.html pram, i left gettin my pram so long cos im mad on tigger but i could only get one from just4baby however they was out of stock (ive now found a shop local to me that does tigger prams arrrgh but never mind as now i keep seeing loads of people with them). I wouldnt worry about looking stupid with having winnie pooh items, its each to there own and my mum who is 45 cant wait to push her grandson around in his winnie pram!

Im sorry to hear about all your troubles with the shower, go through your tenancy agreement and see if you can hold them to anythin (e.g in mine with council says something/non urgent jobs has to b fixed within 5 days) explain your pregnant and you need the shower doing asap - if this fails to work have you thought about seeking legal advice or just threatenin them with legal action (theres loads of companies who now help you to get compensation from housing associations/councils), again usin my local authority as an example you have 3 chances at something then they threaten legal action (e.g gas maintenance) seems yours av used up all there chances. all the best

bargain- the Place has been shut down such a long time now it was jumping jacks and liquid which is opposite the sugar mill and near portifino restuarant.my oh was on about the place he said it had cheap beer but to many drugs i never went though.

re physio apprently the reason my belly takes a funny dome shape when i move is because my stomach muscles are torn possibly in half,i dont have any muscles in my bum,back or legs they are all really weak and will have to see her after babys born for a while to repair the damage.i saw a different midwife today who has rang the hospital to get me an induction at 38 weeks she said she wont make me wait till i go over or go to 40 weeks so feel better now.so may only be 4 weeks till baby comes.

Hi ya, i'm going to the hospital for another scan tomorrow afternoon. Will be seeing the consultant, and im guessing theyll check my bp as usual etc while im there. Cant wait to see baby again, he/she's been very active the past few days!
