Got 9 days till DD now, really hope it's early. Bump is getting hard quite a lot, mostly in the evenings. I assume these tightenings are braxtons?

My daughter has 8 days till DD and she's experiencing the same thing. She's also not sure whether it's Braxtons , but it certainly sounds like it

Hi everyone, just popping in to say hi and see how everyone is!

My bump is now definately sticking out, i took some photos so i can keep a record for the future to look back at. And was shocked-my husband didnt tell me id 'popped' in the past week or two!

My lovely mom has been croqueting (cant spell!) a blanket for baby, and her best friend has made me several knitted cardigans/jackets already! She is kindly making me some mittens too, i love traditional stuff like this. I just wish i could knit too, gavev it a go not long ago and gave up!

I normally have odd dreams-but they seem to be even more strange since becoming pregnant! anyone else have this?!

Hi Keely. Glad to hear you've now "popped" a bump! Mine's coming along nicely :)

Re the dreams...had a few saucy ones but also some very strange ones. One of them I dreamt that I was watching my belly button pop out and it continued to grow out and out and out.....EEEEKK!

Saw my lovely midwife yesterday. Got to hear the heart beat which was amazing. Nice to know there's something in there still! Heart beat indicates a boy and she also got some Chinese chart out and that indicated a boy too - but it was only for a bit of fun and a guesstimate! I'm not going to rush out and buy blue clothes.

Hope everyone's feeling well - I've got a yucky cold coming on!

I have to get the bus tio the hospital with a gallon of wee sloshing around in my bag!

pmsl (almost literally, I thought I was sposed to pee less is the second trimester not more!) and I thought the little pee pot was bad!

Anyway, enough bump talk, I still have nothing at all, having said that I'm pretty squidgy anyway so it could just be that the squidge is rearranging instead lol!

Keeley (and emjem) if you're happy to post bump pics I'd love to see them, but if you'd rather not that's not a problem! :-)

Keeley, I have lots of variously bonkers dreams since I've been pregnant, pretty much every night as well, last night I dreamed we'd cleaned and tidied the house! How gutted was I when I woke up to the usual mess *sigh*

Hope your cold doesn't last long emjem

I had major BH earlier in the week - it's my reflexology apparently. Has all sorts of effects including getting a good nights sleep. It's the small things in life that get you a little too excited sometimes...

    RJH - I can't believe you've managed to work this long! :T

I've just been to the midwife today and I'm made up to find my baby is head down, I'm delighted because hopefully the end is in sight, I'm 34 plus 2 and I don't think she'll be very early but as long as I don't go ten days over again I'll be chuffed. MW also said she was a fair size which I was expecting as DS was just under 10lbs. I'm grumpy, tired, weeing all the time and fed up of being very uncomfortable in bed, you know, tossing and turning etc. Good luck everyone else!!!!
